Who cares if it’s halloween or if it’s just November? Horror is good any time of year.  If you’re looking for werewolf movies, they can sometimes be hard to find – vampire movies are much more popular – everyone loves their fangs, eternal life, and mysteriousness.  But what about human-wolf transformations? full moons? and real terror?   So then, here we go…

11 Werewolf Movies for horror and werewolf movie fans. Watch them all, then report back to me and tell me which one is your favorite!

1.  An American Werewolf in London.  (very popular 1981 werewolf movie)

3. An American Werewolf in Paris (1997 werewolf movie, sequel to AWIL)

4.  Underworld (2003 werewolf movie with Kate Beckinsale – there was also a 2006 sequel)

5.  Blood & Chocolate (2007 werewolf movie)

6.  Cursed (2005 Wes Craven werewolf movie starring Christina Ricci)

7.  Skinwalkers (2007 werewolf movie)

8.  The Howling (1981 werewolf horror movie…there were 6 or 7 sequels)

9.  Ginger Snaps (2001 werewolf movie with a couple of sequels)

10.  Silver Bullet (1985 werewolf movie with Corey Haim, Terry O’Quinn (from Lost!))

11.  The Wolf Man (1941 werewolf movie classic)

    Out of your 11 movies listed, I absolutely LOVE the following:

    An American Werewolf in London
    The Howling
    Ginger Snaps
    Silver Bullet

    The others are good, I’ll watch them if they are on, but I don’t love them like I do the others.
    Personally, I think An American Werewolf in Paris is just awful, I don’t think that it does the original any kind of justice.
    AAWIL is a total classic, it’s original in both idea and storytelling, and the soundtrack is simply the coolest.

    Cursed isn’t bad at all, it’s actually quite an enjoyable film is people would give it a chance.
    The Howling is a really decent film, but the sequels are just junk so people who haven’t seen the first one, only the sequels, automatically think The Howling is going to suck too. That’s sad because The Howling is one of the better werewolf movies made.
