3 things all werewolves should remember
1. Views of lycanthropy change over time.
Today werewolves might be celebrated, but tomorrow they might be crucified. Never take for granted the momentary and fleeting nature of being in good graces. A few hundred years ago werewolves were synonymous with evil. Today, to some they still are, however the viewpoint for many others has changed considerably…and today there are even many that are willing to accept that there can be and are such thing as “good werewolves”. But remember, it takes one bad apple to ruin the bunch, and no matter how far the views of humans have changed, they could change back in a second.
2. It is hard to compete with the historical beliefs of a culture.
There are times when you may encounter humans or groups of humans with very negative views towards werewolves. It is important not to take these beliefs and views too much to heart. Sometimes it’s simply the fact that a group or a culture has a long-standing history in their legends and beliefs that prevent them from feeling any goodwill towards the werewolf. They’ve grown up with negative stories as part of their culture…in some places werewolves have been blamed for everything from loss of farmer’s cattle to failed crops to deadly illnesses. Trying to convince someone to have an open mind about werewolves that has heard from their parents and grandparents and friends and communities about all the negative things that werewolves are is a hard fought battle. You will get through to some, but to others you may not. Remember, not everyone can keep an open mind on something that they have never seen for themselves, but merely heard bad stories of. This cannot necessarily be blamed on the individual.
3. Do not underestimate the power of someone’s thought.
And by this I mean, if you do encounter negative views towards werewolves, don’t underestimate how those thoughts might affect you. You may believe that what someone thinks does not matter to you – and you may- and should – be right! But be sure that you haven’t internalized the negativity. Try not to take it into yourself and cover it up for it to come back later. Instead, let it go. Take the negativity, understand it, and attempt to understand the limits that the human has that made the comment. Hear what others think, then see and understand that the comment is more about them and their limits than you and your faults. Once you have addressed this, let the negativity go, don’t save it for later.

Woah! Why would some people blame really negative to werewolves? Me too I blame werewolves to…. For eating all the foods and stuff in my refrigerator when they visited my house.
Maybe I should be a little more careful if werewolf hunters are around…
I don’t wanna die!!! Gotta dodge them silver bullets. ….
This is why I don’t go around in public screaming, “Hey, look at me!!! a real life werewolf!!!”
You’re a HUMAN, homo sapien, Mensch. I actually feel sorry for you guys, your delusional thoughts are warping your minds.
I only follow one rule and one rule only…
Survival take priority above all else.
@RebeccaGoldentail:
Exactly! I couldn’t agree more. 1. your just looking for attention if u do that, and 2. it could get you killed!
Thats why only 2 people know im a werewolf. my ex-bestfriend and my new bestie!
There are NO hunters.
NO ONE is trying to kill you.
Common sense people, feel free to start using it at any time.
@Lycanhope:
Let the pups play. Sooner or later reality will hit them in the face.
@ILiekPizza: I find stupidity to be like a weed. If you don’t rip it out early, it becomes impossible to deal with.
@Lycanhope:
Even weeds choke themselves to death. either way I am not going to stop you, I am just saying. 😛
There are hunters out there. Lycans are better off either staying a myth or gaining control over humans.
The Lycanthrope species is only misunderstood. But still we must be cautious.
oops I mean they must be cautious.
@Moon Walker:
No need to gain control over them. Best to keep to yourself.
@ILiekPizza:
Let the pups play. Sooner or later reality will hit them in the face 😛
These are good to keep in mind, sure dont want to be crucified * shudder*
PRETTY sure that crucifixion does not exist anymore. unless there is some kind of anti christ that likes to nail people on a wooden cross for weird wacked out fun
@mary it does.. -_- my parents were reading through my texts with one of my friends…. They ended up having an intervention with me stating that “werewolves are from the devil” and blah blah blah.
@ainsumLe: That’s, not really the same as crucifixion though.
@luna: crucifixion is the way romens killed people in a shameful way(the most shameful at that) and its now illegal in the u.s.
Its illegal everywhere
@RebeccaGoldentail: so, you are a faoladh?
You humans make me sick. Our kind has been in hiding for centuries. Our faults. We blame the humans for making us like this. With all your evil hatred. We are forced to be like this. Why don’t you just leave us be and we wont have to kill any of you by default. We can live a peaceful life without your hunting to kill us.
Good advice. 🙂
The advice works in a place of fiction. As far as I know, hunters are a byproduct of Hollywood, based on the “trials” in history where people were hunted down and murd*red because others thought they were werewolves.
Given the state of humanity, SOMEONE may “hunt down werewolves,” and “murd*r them,” but that doesn’t make them a stereotypical hunter. That means some people haven’t grown from that unruly and illogical mindset.. the mindset may still exist.
