6th sense of werewolves

Werewolf 967 pointed out the connection between werewolves and thunder, however I want to also add that in general, many werewolves have a type of 6th sense which attunes them to the earth and helps them to predict when a natural disastor will occur.  It has long been documented that many animals can sense when natural disasters are about to occur – for example, there is a long-held belief that many animals can sense when earthquakes are about to occur.  Scientists have proved that it is true – prior to things such as an earthquake, many animals from dogs to cats to weasels to even fish and insects act erratically.  It is believed they can “sense” the earthquake – some theories suggest that with this “6th sense” they can sense the ground shaking before we humans do, others suggest that they feel electrical changes in the air.

Werewolves also have this 6th sense which attunes them to the earth and powerful changes and events.  A werewolf will feel a sense of unease and as if something is slightly off prior to an earthquake.  They will feel a similar state of wrongness prior to the formation of a tornado.  This is not magic, but rather a connection with the earth, given to them by their non-human instincts.
