Werewolf Sightings in Virginia

One location of werewolf sightings is in Henrico County Virginia of a werewolf that has come to be known as the Werewolf of Henrico County. The story of the werewolf of Henrico County has taken on something of urban legend status…it’s hard to find true first-hand accounts – every thing heard about this particular werewolf seems to be something that a friend said. When you finally are able to get through the excitement and whispers, accounts of the werewolf sightings describe a greyish white creature covered in fur that stands upright and “has the face of an animal”.

These werewolf sightings seem to be clustered in Henrico County Virginia in and around the Confederate Hills Recreation Center.  It is unclear how often the werewolf appears or what its appearances coincide with.

Possible explanations for these werewolf sightings include a hoax by a local – the sightings are after all in and around a recreation center – it is not unplausible to think that a local teen has pulled out his halloween costume and is trying to pull a prank on the local community. There are those however that deny that it is a prank.

Another plausible explanation to the sightings that has been offered which seems to be more likely is that what is being seen is actually a bigfoot, since the area is also a huge spot for bigfoot sightings. If this is true, this would not be the first time a bigfoot has been mistaken for a werewolf. From a distance, both bigfoot and werewolves can look pretty similar. In the darkness, a huge upright creature covered in fur looking vaguely human could be mistaken as either. Unless you have a close-up encounter, it could be very difficult to determine which creature it in fact is.

A final possible explanation for the sightings is that this is in fact a real werewolf.  It does however seem unlikely that this is the case given the location of the sightings – a recreation center.  Rec centers are hubs of activity, and this particular one sits out in the open.  Most werewolves would steer clear of such areas as the chances of being spotted and identified are extremely high.

Actually, there have been about 5 recorded strange man/wolf sightings in Illinois after 2002 alone My mother, aunt, and Grandmother make up 3 of the 5 sightings. And though I doubt you take the word of a stranger on the internet, I know my family and they wouldn’t make up a story like this. They are pritty insistent that the thing they saw was something they have never seen before in their lives. My aunt said it ran on 2 legs and was eating roadkill like a raccoon.

all 3 of them are in “hunting the american werewolf” – a book you can google if you wanna read more about the sightings.

Werewolves indeed do eat road-kill if there is no other resource. Werewolves are highly known as being visious and cruel! NOT TRUE. Thanks to movies. Indians started the curse. A blackkfoot indian used the power of the wolf to make him stronger but turned him into a beast. He had a love. Married young with 2 kids he learned to deal with the curse but to always run away during transformation. He snuck out during a full moon. His wife followed him. She noticed the changes he was going through trying to run away but he got to her and bit her. She was infected witht the disease. Never to be seen again! Werewolves now have changed so very much of the years. Blending into the human population. Learning and controling their trasformations. I say this because i am a ”Pack” werewolves have been in my family for century’s began in germany making there way to the u.s. Many of the packs remain but many have fanished. Many of which that we live in henrico county virginia. Living in our own enviroment.

There are alot Werewolves in Virgina! And i do believe they have orginated from Germany and other such places. I can say because, my Moms side of the family has remaining faint traces of the infection or “gene” I tend to involve myself with Were’s, their much more tolerable and all-around much better than anyother human i’ve met, but you do meet a mean one every once in awhile… But i have to say yay Ms. Lacey Pack! ^^ thumbs up for the German tribes!!
I know of certain regions of the country where they tend to gather, The Rockies is one place, north eastern region, they dont really seem to be in the Great Plains.. the exsist more in the Northern region

Upon moving into my mom’s house (eastern henrico)14 years ago. The first week my family moved into the neighborhood, a wolf’s voice morphed with a human voice was heard outside my bedroom. It was announcing our arrival. My brother had heard it too. We was too scared to look outside the window. I believe there are vampires (I have a cool story) as well here. I have always felt different. My friend said she heard a similar voice a few nights ago at my mom’s present house. My father’s side of the family barely go to hospitals. I have always been extremely strong from youth. I wonder what is it that makes my family be noticed. Maybe it’s just coincidences…..

Hachina I was thinking of what you were saying earlier, about the moderator. And how some rules are needless. I know this is a forum about werewolf discussion but let me just throw this in just to at least liven up the place a bit. (It seems as if the researcha fellow is actually missed But it is better to keep the devil you love at bay)

Any way here is what I wish to tell you; please you others feel free to respond.

Recently I was in a developing country (not developed but developing please note the difference, as in it is not exactly developed but people live there, and go to school, and have business ventures etc, it’s just not as developed as say America) I won’t say the name of the exact country so that I won’t offend but what I saw there was quite startling.

I saw a group of people, all trying to get visa’s to travel to another country, and these people were practically clawwing their eyes out trying to get ahead in line. It all started with one line, which is the norm for most ques, but then it became two, then three, till the place was in a riot. A lot of them started fighting, men hitting women, women spitting on men; all under about 90 degrees of heat.

It goes without saying that an intelligent group of people would intuitively avoid this, they would see it as quite horrific; once in Chicago there was a power failure and we had to que for gas. The most rockus that occurred there was a man that cutt the line, and he was quickly put in check by a woman in her late 30′s. But this, as in what I saw in that other country that I visited for a 3 month vacation, it was bizzzare.

Every morning, if you look closely enough, you can find disssmembered bodiies on the road side, from hit and runns. There is no speed limit, or computerized devices to track how fast you are going. The police rub you, this is understandable because they only get paid about 30 dollars a month if you convert it to U.S. DOLLARS. If you go into the really ruralll areas you can commit rappe, and the women you do it to won’t even know they are been violated. T

Now my question is this….If this could happen in the country where I will not mention, is there such a thing as different levels of intelligence amongst races? Like how people suggest some races are intellectually superior to another. And if there is differing intelligence levels is this due to genetics?

Remember poverty and desperation might factor in to these things, but could the decayed state a society finds itself in, be due to the very people that inhabit it?
