This halloween, werewolves are being rereleased in High Definition! At the beginning of this month, the Blu-Ray special edition of An American Werewolf in London was released. The movie is a digitally remastered “Full Moon Edition” of AWIL which includes a feature length documentary “Beware the Moon” which shows behind the scenes footage. It also includes extras from previous releases such as a 13 minute featurette called “Casting the Hand”, interviews with John Landis and Rick Baker, and outtakes and storyboards. For those of you unfamiliar with AWIL, many werewolf fans consider this “THE” werewolf movie for halloween (or anytime) you have to see and definitely worth the purchase.

There are also rumors of An American Werewolf in London remake of the werewolf classic.
