Blockbuster announced to buy the online download movie provider Movielink.com proving that they are more committed to providing an expansion on their online movie services. Blockbuster seems to be focused on renting a dvd to customers through the online tools via mail than having physical stores. Are they headed in the direction of taking the rental company completely online?! The purchase of movielink.com seems to be a big step in that direction.
I have seen some Blockbuster stores around the area closing down, I still prefer going to the store and picking out my video than getting it in the mail. But! I havent even tried Blockbuster online! And they even have a free trial!! hmmm…..
