Teen Wolf Costume for Halloween

October 30, 2007 By: Buddy Category: Werewolves!! No Comments →

How about a teen wolf costume for halloween OR, actually maybe you should just dress like this all year! ha! Let’s get you started with some background info for the young kids out there that might not know - Teen Wolf is a 1985 movie starring Michael J Fox about a kid that finds out he’s a werewolf - he’s ashamed, worried, and horrrified, but then he embraces it! So, this halloween, step 1 is to watch Teen Wolf, so you’re in the right mind set.  Teen Wolf Halloween Costume WerewolfStep 2, make a costume at home!

The costume for this is SUPER easy to do a homemade version. All you need is an old high school jacket, a pair of jeans, and a T-shirt. Get some werewolf gloves, or even just some patches of hair to put on top of your hands at the cuff of your jacket and sticking out the top of your shirt (see pic).  You could throw in some fangs for an extra effect. Whalla, you’re teen wolf! The teen wolf costume is super easy!

Saw IV Movie - To see on Halloween or not to see?

October 29, 2007 By: Buddy Category: Movies 2 Comments →

The answer is yes, see the movie Saw IV this halloween!…if you like lots of gore, lots of blood, and lots of really, really, really, really graphic blood, guts, and gore that is. It’s not so much a scary movie, as a disgusting movie….a “I can’t believe that he’s going to do that!” movie. If you’ve seen any of the other Saw movies, you have an idea of what to expect…Jigsaw has plenty of puzzles that you haven’t seen yet…I dont want to spoil it for those of you who havent seen the movie yet, but let’s just say that 99% of the population will flinch at most of them. And they just dive right in too, the opening scene starts with an autopsy - check out the Saw IV Movie Trailer on the Official Saw IV Movie Website, for a trailer of the autopsy. (It’s a Rated R website, so you actually have to login in in order to watch the trailer, for some tips if you can’t login see Best Movie Website blog.) But anyway, what I’m getting at, is that this is not a scary movie, it’s a disgusting movie. And the focus is more on showing as much blood and guts as they can, while the plot is kind of skimpy…and kind of confusing in some parts. Don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy watching Saw, especially as it is Halloween. And there aren’t any werewolf movies out right now for me to watch, so what is a werewolf person supposed to do?

Michael Myers Layouts for Myspace

October 28, 2007 By: Buddy Category: Horror No Comments →

Let’s take a break from werewolves, halloween costumes, and masks, and take a quick look at decorating your myspace page for halloween. Since it’s halloween what better myspace layout could you find than a Michael Myers layout!? (OK, better would be a wolf myspace layout, or werewolf myspace page, but let’s focus on Michael Myers layouts right now). There are some cool free Michael Myers myspace layouts here. The site let’s you change between myspace themes based on the Michael Myers Halloween movies and see how your myspace page would look with each halloween theme. Kind of neat. Alot of these free layouts are user-created layouts. Be careful when you select one of these free layouts to check how long it takes your page to load! I hate going to myspace pages that take 20 minutes for the page to come up.

Wolf mask! Homemade and store!

October 27, 2007 By: Buddy Category: Horror 1 Comment →

So I decided to post a whole separate entry for the wolf mask. I know, I know, I already blogged about the dog halloween mask, but wolves are different from dogs (and different from werewolves too), so here’s it’s own entry, for people that specifically want a wolf mask!

Now, there are scary wolf masks and not-so-scary wolf masks for halloween. Here’s a not scary wolf mask based on the “Big Bad Wolf” from Little Red Riding Hood. It looks kind of like a cartoon! Here’s another wolf mask for kids that’s not scary at all, and looks kind of like a fox more than a wolf.

As for scary wolf masks, here’s one that’s kind of scary, but still good for kids. It’s called a “Bad Wolf” (kind of cartoony). Here’s another wolf mask that is kind of scary, and here’s another scary mask choice. If you want a really scary halloween mask, you need to change your costume idea from a wolf costume mask to a werewolf costume mask! If you want to make the change to werewolf, Read my post on werewolf masks!

The homemade wolf mask is another choice to consider for halloween- here are some good instructions from the San Diego Zoo for kids to make a wolf mask that resembles the big bad wolf. You just need paper plates, scissors glue, and a few other things you can find around the house. Here’s another Wolf Mask that looks like a wolf you can just print out.
