Where a werewolf transformation begins the answer!

December 28, 2007 By: Buddy Category: Werewolf Transformations, Werewolves!! No Comments →

Hello werewolf967!! Buddy here. Yes, I agree, the werewolf transformation is important, and yet so many movies don’t give this enough focus. As humans, we like to rubber-neck, so when a human is going to start transforming out of their human shape, and into a wolf, we want to see as much as humanly possible….and we want it to be disgusting and horrifying too! And of course we want it to look REAL! Because after all, we’re just sitting in our movie seat, not concerned it can happen to us… I blogged last month about the best werewolf transformation scenes…and the best tranformations are the ones that show the face disfiguring, the hair growing in, and the pain the person is going through - and don’t forget sound, sound is very important! You want to hear the bones crunching as they reshape, the agony as the skin stretches and tears, and the horrified gasps as the human realizes he has become a werewolf.

Now, the most important question that you’re asking - where does the werewolf transformation begin? I believe the werewolf transformation starts with the hands and feet. The hands and feet are the extremities, they’re farthest away from the core of your body where your heart and other core body parts are. The core of your body is going to be the hardest to transform, so the first visible signs of a transformation you’re going to see are going to be in the tips of your fingers and toes…it’s like an infection that’s running through your body in your bloodstream, and it’s going to start transforming the easiest parts first. Fingers, toes, tip of Nose, tips of ears… the body parts that would succumb to frostbite first are the parts where the werewolf tranformation begins.

Do you agree?

How a werewolf transforms- where does it start?

Hi Buddy! (and of course all readers :-) )

As you know (*wink*wink :-) ) I am the second contributor to ilovewerewolves. Since we all love werewolves here and wouldn’t be here if we didn’t I dont need to tell you that I love werewolves!

One of my favorite things about them is their transformation, the transformation of a werewolf is one of the most important aspects when watching a werewolf movie, lets face it we all want to see it transform!

But I say you either do a transformation the correct way and make it look as “real” and detailed as possible or simply don’t do the werewewolf transformation at all!

You can lose viewers (or readers) if you can’t create a good transformation; it has to be detailed, painful, bloody, sweaty, ugly, sad, and above all complete.

So as I make my first post here on ilovewerewolves I would like to ask a question to Buddy! Since Buddy knows best! :-)

If a werewolf transforms, where does the transformation begin? And why?

Everything begins somewhere and what we need to find is the answer to where a werewolf transformation would begin on a werewolf?

-Once we figure out where the beginning is I think we can start to figure out where the transformation continues…but until then, until we have a reasonable answer as to where the werewolf transformation starts we cannot move any further…

December 24, 2007 By: Buddy Category: Werewolves!! No Comments →

Merry Christmas Eve!! I have a true holiday favorite for you - a werewolf song! If you love werewolves and you’re looking for a werewolf christmas song, well, I’ve found it for you! I was reading a blog and found some lyrics sung along to the tune Joy to the World…here’s the start of the werewolf christmas song…

It’s the Holidays
And the Werewolves go Rowr Rowr
Rowr rowr, rowr rowr, rowr rowr

The Vampires look for blood
And the Zombies look for brains
And the Werewolves go Rowr Rowr
And the Werewolves go Rowr Rowr
And the Werewolves, the Werewolves go Rowr Rowr

A Werewolf Bar Mitzvah on 30 Rock

December 23, 2007 By: Buddy Category: Werewolves!! No Comments →

Really, I could not make this stuff up if I tried, I promise.  The Werewolf Bar Mitzvah is from an episode of 30 Rock from October.  Apparently it’s Tracy Jordan’s gold record.  Since I do not watch 30 Rock, nor know who Tracy Jordan is, that means nothing to me, but if they’re doing werewolf bar mitzvah’s in October, maybe I should reconsider?  At any rate, if you missed it like I did, you can catch the full video clip of the 30 Rock Werewolf Bar Mitzvah on NBC here. It’s a really really short music video clip with song.

For those of you looking for the lyrics to this werewolf song, here you go:

Werewolf bar mitzvah
Spooky scary
Boys becoming men
Men becoming wolves

Werewolf bar mitzvah
Spooky scary

Boys becoming men
Men becoming wolves

Werewolf: the Devil’s Hound movie on DVD

December 22, 2007 By: Buddy Category: Movies 1 Comment →

On December 4, 2007 a new werewolf movie was released on DVD called Werewolf the Devil’s Hound….a new movie about werewolves!! Finally!!
Werewolf-Devils-Hound-Michael-Dionne
That is the good news….the bad news is that Werewolf, The Devil’s Hound - according to some reviewers - is just not that good a movie.  Reviewers site bad acting, bad camera work, and bad effects…now, I haven’t seen the movie myself so cannot comment directly, and there are also a couple of good reviews, so don’t let me sway you either way! My advise would be to visit Amazon and read some reviews for yourself….or visit Werewolf” The Devil’s Hound official movie site for a better idea of what the movie is about. Obviously is not a Steven Speilberg movie, so keep an open mind when your making your decision!
