i love werewolves

Thought I’d just share some werewolf history and info on what I’ve found on how far back you can find references to werewolves. A 1978 book by Ian Woodward called THE WEREWOLF DELUSION: A fully documented, thoroughly researched investigation into the world of the werewolf says that the Vikings may have brought the werewolf folklore into the Americas and introduced it to Native American tribes. Going farther back, it is thought that the werewolf originated in ancient Persia in paleolithic times (in other words, the stone age). Almost every culture has some knowledge of the werewolf. Check out the names for what a werewolf is called in other countries.

Werewolves are always depicted as fearsome-looking creatures.  They always look evil and mean. In fact, werewolves almost always look angry.  Do you(or anyone reading this) know what makes a werewolf angry?  I know, I know, werewolf 967, you think werewolves are inherently evil, therefore your argument is probably that they are just angry all the time for no reason.  But I believe there must be something that makes the werewolf angry - and even if you think werewolves are angry all the time, you must think there is something specifically that will make him more angry on one particular day than another. What is it? What makes a werewolf angry?

It happens, a werewolf who is hunting and finds a deer, it’s terrible. The fear that passes by and runs through the deer down it’s spine pumping its heart to the edge of collapse, only instincts can tell the deer to do something, his instincts say do nothing. The prey frozen like a deer in the headlights. He cannot move. He will be frozen. A werewolf will approach, his speed at which he approaches makes no difference because the deer is frozen. The werewolf crept into within five feet of the deer and stood head to head with his prey, fear in the eyes of the deer, and fear in the eyes of the werewolf, except the fear in the werewolf is not fear of being prey, it’s fear that the deer might escape. A chase that would put the werewolf in a pointless pursuit with the outcome that will be the same as now. He will eat. He will not chase. There is no match. The werewolf wins because of the deer in the headlights, the easiest meal for a werewolf.

Your thoughts on what a werewolf fears are interesting.  It sounds like you’re saying a werewolf fears having to face life and his curse alone.  I have to disagree with you - most werewolves LOVE being werewolves.  In fact, they revel in being alone.  Most hate  humans and love the fact that they are not human.  I don’t think they ever really get lonely. I think that is the human perpsective - the human perspective is how can one werewolf survive the werewolf curse/virus by himself. Destined to be one of the only ones of his kind, and maybe never even meet another werewolf. But remember, werewolves are only part human, they do not have the same feelings that humans have. They do not feel lonliness like we humans do.

I’m angry. Frustrated. Confused. Hot. Wet. Cold. I’m at a breaking point.I wish I had faith now. I wish there were more to it than just a whole bunch of confusion. There could be more to life than this, except, who am I to find the better way? There is one path and I will travel this path my entire life all alone, fear of the unknown, fear of what I know. There should be fear, but if you have too much fear will you be taken by it? You could be brave, but if you embrace bravery will you be taken because of this? Will you live with this curse you entire life?Waking up and not knowing what will become of this is what is scary.
