i love werewolves

For those of you who are not werewolves, I found some pretty cool werewolf masks out on the market last year. This year I’ve seen some new masks out (pictures below).  Some of these werewolf masks are pretty cheap..the first one only $24.95!! The second mask is one I found at Spirit Halloween. Kind of a weird werewolf mask….kind of scary too! The third mask was found at full moon masks, and the last werewolf mask from Max Costumes comes with latex werewolf face and makeup! Don’t be afraid to try to make your own mask. A werewolf mask can also be made with some imagination - you’ll need to buy some makeup from a store like party city (brown and dark brown are the two main colors you’ll need), some fake fur, and some fangs. If you want to get more complex, there are all sorts of videos on youtube showing you how to make great masks if you have some time..

Well, if you’re not crazy about the werewolf mask or werewolf costume because maybe they’re too scary? You could try being a dog. WHY would you want to be a dog for halloween instead of a werewolf? I dont know, but maybe you do. If you do a search for dog mask, you’re likely to come up mostly with halloween costumes for dogs, not halloween costumes for adults to BE a dog. So, I’ve done a little of the work for you. Here’s a site that has a selection of halloween dog masks. It has one that is made out of plush fabric (like a stuffed animal), and makes sounds too! It’s called a “headband facemask”, so looks like you put a headband on to keep it in place, neat idea, good for girls. It also has a rottweiler mask (one of those chinless halloween masks) that is kind of scary. Here’s another super cheap halloween dog mask only $1.99 and you can be a spotted dog! It’s just one of those basic masks with the elastic strap that goes behind your head…great choice for a kid halloween party. And finally, here’s a full head halloween dog mask of a dalmationit’s a plastic mask that goes all the way over your head. If you don’t want scary, this one isn’t scary at all!

So, you’re down to next to no time for halloween. Well, as luck would have it, you can actually print your halloween mask! Many websites out there offer halloween mask patterns…just choose the category that you want, and a drawing of the mask will come up on your computer for you to print out. I’ve found witches, clowns, cats, dogs, monsters - there’s actually a pretty big selection of masks out there! Now, these aren’t very professional since they are just masks you print out, but it’s better than nothing…and if you have a child wanting to make a homemade halloween costume, it’s a good choice! If you already have your halloween costume set, it might be fun to print out the masks and use them for halloween wall decorations. Check out this site, which has some pretty nice color printable Star Wars Masks, including R2D2, C3P0, Chewbacca, and of course Darth Vadar. Other websites also include fun mask choices like insects, or this very detailed printable wolf mask.

You have a little more than a week left until halloween, so if you haven’t made your choice of halloween costume yet, you’re almost out of time! If you decided to be a werewolf and haven’t chosen a werewolf mask yet, time to make a decision and make it quickly. Good werewolf masks are expensive, but I’ve been scouring the internet to try to find you some of the best werewolf mask choices, I’ve found some nice ones that you can wear for halloween. Sorry, most of the werewolf masks that are decently priced are going to be sold out by this point, so you’re just going to have to deal with paying the price for waiting so long!
