The Evil Horror Clown

November 07, 2007 By: Buddy Category: Horror No Comments →

For some reason clowns have become very popular in the horror genre. The evil horror clown shows up in various horror - and non horror movies. There’s just something about the makeup, and the way the face is hidden away behind a fake smile mask that is scary….there can be any kind of evil mind behind the clown mask! Who knows if it’s the smile of a nice clown or a horror clown!

I’m not quite sure where the horror clown started, but surely one of the most famous clowns for horror fans is Pennywise from the Stephen King novel It. The evil clown can also be found in the Dean Koontz novel Life Expectancy. Another memorable scary clown is the Joker from Batman…though this is not a horror movie, there is no denying that he is evil, and kind of scary!

There is also an urban legend about the clown…it basically goes along the lines of a girl that’s babysitting some kids, the parents call the babysitter to check on her, and she says everything’s fine, but that clowns scare her, can she cover up the one in the bedroom? The parents tell her to get out of the house fast, because they don’t have a clown.
Really not scared of clowns? Here’s an Evil Horror Clown Generator.

Real Chupacabra Sighting in Texas

November 02, 2007 By: Buddy Category: Horror, wolves, Dogs, Uncategorized 2 Comments →

On Sept 1, 2007, ABC News did an article on a real chupacabra which a woman from Texas found dead outside her ranch in Cuero, Texas. Real Chupacabra Texas Sighting…apparently this is only one of three ugly fanged creatures found. She saved the body for DNA testing, and believes that it is what has been responsible for sucking the blood from her chickens (chupacabra actually means goat sucker in spanish). Vets claim that it is probably just a strange breed of dog. The pic on the left is from the Texan woman holding her photo of the dead chupacabra.

For those who don’t know, the chupacabra is a mythical beast which is said to drink the blood of livestock (hence the name goat sucker). Sightings are prevalent in Mexico and Puerto Rico. Some sightings report it as resembling a reptile, others claim it looks like a dog or a wolf. Forked tongues and wings are also sometimes associated with the chupacabra. Drawing you’ll find on the internet make the chupacabra out to look like a weird alien creature.

So, is the chupacabra legend real? Based on fact? It appears it might be from this photo!

Michael Myers Layouts for Myspace

October 28, 2007 By: Buddy Category: Horror No Comments →

Let’s take a break from werewolves, halloween costumes, and masks, and take a quick look at decorating your myspace page for halloween. Since it’s halloween what better myspace layout could you find than a Michael Myers layout!? (OK, better would be a wolf myspace layout, or werewolf myspace page, but let’s focus on Michael Myers layouts right now). There are some cool free Michael Myers myspace layouts here. The site let’s you change between myspace themes based on the Michael Myers Halloween movies and see how your myspace page would look with each halloween theme. Kind of neat. Alot of these free layouts are user-created layouts. Be careful when you select one of these free layouts to check how long it takes your page to load! I hate going to myspace pages that take 20 minutes for the page to come up.

Wolf mask! Homemade and store!

October 27, 2007 By: Buddy Category: Horror 1 Comment →

So I decided to post a whole separate entry for the wolf mask. I know, I know, I already blogged about the dog halloween mask, but wolves are different from dogs (and different from werewolves too), so here’s it’s own entry, for people that specifically want a wolf mask!

Now, there are scary wolf masks and not-so-scary wolf masks for halloween. Here’s a not scary wolf mask based on the “Big Bad Wolf” from Little Red Riding Hood. It looks kind of like a cartoon! Here’s another wolf mask for kids that’s not scary at all, and looks kind of like a fox more than a wolf.

As for scary wolf masks, here’s one that’s kind of scary, but still good for kids. It’s called a “Bad Wolf” (kind of cartoony). Here’s another wolf mask that is kind of scary, and here’s another scary mask choice. If you want a really scary halloween mask, you need to change your costume idea from a wolf costume mask to a werewolf costume mask! If you want to make the change to werewolf, Read my post on werewolf masks!

The homemade wolf mask is another choice to consider for halloween- here are some good instructions from the San Diego Zoo for kids to make a wolf mask that resembles the big bad wolf. You just need paper plates, scissors glue, and a few other things you can find around the house. Here’s another Wolf Mask that looks like a wolf you can just print out.
