What is a half vampire half werewolf?  They are called werewolf-vampire half breeds.  There are two ways this could happen.  The first way would be if a werewolf is bitten by a vampire.  This is of course extremely rare - but conceivably this could happen. It does not work in reverse however - if a werewolf bites a vampire you do not get a half-breed.  The second instance in which you’d get a werewolf-vampire half breed would be if a werewolf and vampire have a baby.  This could happen, but it is much much less likely to happen - and I am not aware of any cases.  The problem is that werewolves and vampires do not get along, so it is highly unlikely that they would have children together. The only possible way would be if the werewolf would be able to trick the vampire into it while the werewolf is in human form.  This would not happen though because werewolves and vampires have been at war for eons.

If one of the two cases above does happen,  what you end up with is a creature that is a werewolf for all practical purposes - lives as human and transforms during the full moon.  This creature however  does not have a soul and it also lives forever.  The half-breed werewolf thirsts for blood only - not just to attack, but to eat, and it comes out only in the nighttime.  The werewolf-vampire half breed is much much more dangerous than a pure werewolf or pure vampire.

For those of you who are not werewolves, I found some pretty cool werewolf masks out on the market last year. This year I’ve seen some new masks out (pictures below).  Some of these werewolf masks are pretty cheap..the first one only $24.95!! The second mask is one I found at Spirit Halloween. Kind of a weird werewolf mask….kind of scary too! The third mask was found at full moon masks, and the last werewolf mask from Max Costumes comes with latex werewolf face and makeup! Don’t be afraid to try to make your own mask. A werewolf mask can also be made with some imagination - you’ll need to buy some makeup from a store like party city (brown and dark brown are the two main colors you’ll need), some fake fur, and some fangs. If you want to get more complex, there are all sorts of videos on youtube showing you how to make great masks if you have some time..

Tonight is the third to last full moon of the year.  For those of you interested in finding a werewolf, tonight is the night to get out there and look!  Newer werewolves who do not yet have the ability to transform usually tranform when the moon is full, which is tonight! Werewolves are especially likely to go on the prowl and attack tonight.  With so much urban area, it is becoming increasingly hard to spot what might be a werewolf attack…it just all blends in with urban crazyiness.  For those of you who live in more of a country area however, you have a better chance at spotting a werewolf, or identifying a werewolf attack.  But for everyone searching for werewolves regardless of where you live, be vigilant for things out of the ordinary.  Dogs barking at the woods.  Distant howling (especially in urban areas).  Animals that are spooked for seemingly no reason.  Also, pay attention to your own 6th sense.  If you feel the hairs rise on the back of your neck, or see something moving out of the corner of your eye when you’re outside - these too can be clues that there is something lurking around watching you.  Werewolves do not want you to see them until they are ready to be seen, so pay careful attention to everything around you, especially tonight while the moon is full.

Many of you may ask yourselves, “are werewolves real?“  and if they are, “how do I know if I am a werewolf?”  “Is there an easy way to tell?”  Unfortunately, there are no easy answer to these questions, because noone has come forward and submitted themselves to scientific investigation, the world will always wonder if werewolves are really real. And the truth is no werewolf will ever submit himself to scientists - he/she would be a life-long prisoner!! But let me just tell you - almost every culture talks about werewolves…if werewolves did not exist, why would everyone know about them?But, onto the better question - Am I a werewolf? How do you know if you are a werewolf? Well, there is no real way to know. Some of our readers say that when you transform you remember that you became a werewolf. Some say this is the best way to tell. The truth is though, while some may remember the transformation, for many werewolves, once they have become human again, they do not remember being a werewolf at all. Some say that an aversion to silver indicates you may be a werewolf. The truth though is that silver does not really bother a werewolf in human form. Some say that the only real way to tell if you’re a werewolf is to have someone watch you during a full moon and see if you transform. The problem here is that some older werewolves can transform when they want to. All werewolves don’t tranform during the full moon. The other problem here is that if you do transform and someone is watching you, you may never know the answer to the question “Am i a werewolf” because your friend will not survive. Werewolves are not friendly after all.What does all this mean? That if you don’t know if you’re a werewolf, there is no 100% for sure way to tell. There are some things that might help though, like a werewolf quiz which will give you an idea if you might be a werewolf. But that’s not fool-proof either.

If I was chased into the dark shadows of the night would you follow? You know there is no exit, no turning back, would you still come in after me?
