Dogs are not scared of werewolves in the way that you may think.This is in response to Buddy’s post to the common werewolf myths. Are dogs afraid of werewolves?Yes they are, but, dogs will always try to defend themselves if provoked. If that means that it has to run away it will, if it means that he has to stay and fight a werewolf he will. I am not saying that the dog is stronger or will win a fight (because he wont). I am saying that a dog will be on the defense if it is provoked by a werewolf and will try to defend himself. Many think the dog will smell the “dominance” of the werewolf and automatically run, this is not true. But he will be chased off by a werewolf if the werewolf chooses to do so. Don’t be fooled, a dog is as much an animal as a werewolf, maybe more! The dog instincts are to defend if he is threatened, he will defend his young, he will defend himself.

1. Can werewolves go into the sunlight? Yes! Werewolves can go into the sun. It is vampires that cannot go in the sun (traditionally).
2. Are werewolves noisy? No, they are not. Werewolves are extremely stealthy. As some people on this blog have pointed out, a werewolf can sneak up on you without you even knowing it. They are excellent hunters. Tips for if you are being chased by a werewolf.
3. Do werewolves have lots of hair? Not always, no.
4. Are dogs afraid of werewolves? Yes they are.
5. Do werewolves live forever? No, they don’t. That is the vampire again. Vampires are immortal. Werewolves are mortal, and do have a certain life span different from a human.
Is it possible to fight back a transformation? Can you resist the bodies urge to change? Can you fight back the natural process that your body is now accustomed to? You can but it takes training and even the well trained experience pain and may not even accomplish their goal. Most of the pain is in the mind only, you have to break the barrier between human and wolf, stop the metamorphosis before it takes hold. At a point it will be too late, if you let the transformation take too much control of your body and mind before you fight back then it will be too late. You will not have chance at protecting yourself and the others around you.
Get a grasp of reality don’t let it slip away
Werewolves and vampires have a legendary history of not getting along. Part of it has to do with territory. Both are very territorial. Part of it also has to do with an ancient fued between the two. Part of it also has to do that vampires alot of the time think of themselves as better than werewolves. There are cases however where werewolves and vampires can form a pact of “friendship”. This is not a deep friendship however and both sides should still be on guard and very wary with each other. It is too easy for one side to turn on the other. It is like a lion trying to be friends with a tiger. They can be in the same room, and maybe even ignore each other, but they can never get too comfortable.
I see that Werewolf 967 has started to tell you about our friend Daumier. I pretended not to know. But I do know. I’ll tell you a little about Daumier when I come back.
