When the werewolf transforms and howl at the moon - fact or fiction?
So there is a comment that says werewolves do transform upon will. It seems that some werewolves can meditate in a way that will have strict control over th “evil beast” inside. The meditation theory is very interesting one I had not yet thought of. Could this werewolf transformation theory be the only way they transform? Fact or fiction? One explanation is possible the anger that is built and evil that has to be let out of the body itself, similar to the way the Incredible Hulk would change. Whether it be a female werewolf or male in transformation I think it makes no difference. Is this fact or fiction?
Btw, I have been seeing inquiries on why werewolves howl at the moon. Any possible answers?

I believe it would be like a wolf, but in the case of a werewolf it may howl just to strik fear in it’s foe. Just a guess

I think you dont know what you are talking about. Werewolves (if they are real) are just predators. They do not “attack” ( the right word would be hunt) out of anger or frustraiton, (at least not regularly ( it depends upon the mood of the werewolf)) they hunt becuase they are predators. It is a werewolf’s nature to hunt, they are not evil nor do they have an evil beast inside which you would be calling the wild wolf. They hunt because it is their nature, just like any other predator, even humans. Humans or people do eat meat (exept for vegitarians) and they kill their food, so therefore they hunt. People call this evil, but like i said before, it is the way of things and nature’s law and it seems a lot people just cant except that werewolves are not cursed beings or evil, they are just another predators like any other animal thats eats meat.

Bevin, how can you say werewolves are not evil? They hunt and most times do not eat the person they kill. They are killers. Predators kill to eat their prey or in self defense. Werewolves kill for their pleasure. They are evil.

Werewolves are NOT evil. I agree with Bevin. They hunt simply because it is in their nature. If you think werewolves are evil, just think about werewolves think about you. Forcing them to hide, and in earlier days, hunting them down just because they killed something… or someone. Is how we kill wolves- (because they mess with our cows or whatever) so much better than a werewolf attacking out of instinct. If you say yes, then I believe you are a hypocrite.

We are werewolves and the pack would chew our hands off if they knew we were writing this, but we just had to set the record straight. We are not evil, in fact, we are pillars of our church — a Baptist church where they do not know our hidden side. We are very active in our youth groups and are careful not to go on camp-outs during the full moon. We didn’t ask to be born this way — yes, BORN — contrary to popular belief, we were not bitten. We don’t know where that got started — perhaps a bitter vampire spreading vicious rumors. As for “messing with (your) cows”, they are God’s cows, and we buy our meat at the grocery store or Sam’s Club. So try not to judge, okay? Jesus loves us all.

Okay they are not evil. I beleive you they’re just predators hunting to survive. It may sound evil but it’s just the nature of living things. Everyone does it (even though were omnivores)

M&S - You are a very very poor Baptist - or dare i say not a Baptist at all! How can you attend church - church where you are supposed to be truthful and honest, and hide something as big as who you are?!?! if you are in fact a werewolf, and are hiding this from the church - the place where you are supposed to be open and completely honest, then you are only faking being a Baptist. A real church-going Baptist would not lie to the church. Either that or you are lying about being a werewolf.

Buddy, FYI, Baptists are not required to confess. Perhaps you are a Catholic in wolf’s clothing? No matter. We will not judge you as you have judged us. That is God’s place, my furry friend, and He loves us all. By the way, if you trace it back to the date of Jesus’s crucifixion, there was a full moon. Think about it.

howling at the moonor howling in wolves and dogs is a sign of lonelyness. the oon is what humans always think wolves howl to. i’m petty sure they jus throw their heads back. the myth most likely came from there.
