The werewolf safe house, probably the safest place the werewolf could be in the event of an emergency. Many of you might not have heard about this particular escape for the werewolf so lets go over a few things about the house.

First, what is a werewolf safe house?
This is a secure location, typically a small house or cabin, for a werewolf to escape normal life in the event of an emergency at the normal living quarters.

Some werewolves are constantly being tracked by humans or hunters! This secured location will give the werewolf a destination in the event he/she is being chased out of the city by unruly and evil humans. Furthermore, the house can be used as a destination for when transformations take place, most werewolves who have one will arrive the night before a transformation, the shelter will allow for some privacy while the moon takes ahold and the inevitable transformation occurs.

Where is it located?
Typically a house of this nature is located in a remote location probably in the country far away from humans. One of the best places to have one is deep in the woods, however, it is not uncommon to find one in plain sight on a farm. Many werewolves think that putting one in plain sight is less suspicious and therefore harder to find but this has never been proven. Typically you would like the privacy in case things get out of control, you know, with the shift.

There are locations in the city where you can find a secured spot. The city is much different than a country locale. Since many cities are becoming overcrowded with humans it is not unheard of to find that werewolves collaborate and share a safe house. However, there are risks involved when sharing a location that is supposed to be secure from humans.

How SAFE is a safe house?
Essentially the house will be a secure as you make it! If you have a remote location and have not told anybody about this location it will be more secure than one that werewolves other than yourself know about. The more weighted ones or even humans that you let aware of your spot (no matter how much you trust them) the less secure it becomes, pretty obvious but you would be surprised as to how many weighted ones cannot keep a secret.

For city dwellers that share a safe house… you should know that your location is probably already being monitored! A typical shared city safe house does not stay off the radar for long, it won’t be too long before a weighted one becomes a traitor and alerts the proper authorities of the location, and if that does not happen all of the traffic going in and out of that hot spot will soon become suspicious activity to the humans!

So… you have a safe house, or want one… what do you put in it? … What is next?? Stay tuned for my next post…

Preparing for a full moon is not something you think about on a daily basis. In fact, preparation for the full moon might come as a surprise to most humans, however, for the werewolf it is just part of the cycle of the year.

As the full moon approaches you should keep in mind a few things!

Always keep track of the full moon! Know when it is coming and know when it is getting close. A full moon calendar is very handy to have around so that you can keep tabs on the moons cycle. You can find several different types of full moon calendars including in the form of apps, online moon widgets, and even desktop moon calendars in the form of paper.

Never get yourself angry before the moon! Getting yourself worked up into a rage or even getting into an argument as the full moon is getting close increases the likelihood that you will shift into a werewolf looking for “trouble.” Avoid getting worked up! Always try to be is in a calm mood as the full moon rises, doing this will greatly reduce the chances that you could harm another human.

Hydrate! This might sound weird but hydration is key to keeping the werewolf strength while in werewolf form. Hydration improves body strength and overall health and will allow the werewolf to retain some of this strength while in werewolf form.

If there is any month that it is ok to be “weird” it is October; If there is any month that weird is normal it is October!

For the month of October humans will struggle to be as weird, scary, and as abnormal as possible! All leading up to the scariest day of the year… Halloween!

Humans will research, shop, strain, and challenge each other to become something that on any other day of the year they would call crazy or odd! But in the eyes of most humans it is ok for one month? And actually normal for one night?

The month of October is a month for the humans who never fit in and are called “weird” by others, all of the werewolves, vampires, and all other creatures and monsters can relax and blend in to the population. They can relax when going out at night, feel normal when going to the mall, and blend in when going to school… because all humans will think that since it is the month of October that it is finally “normal” to appear the way you do, to act the way you do, and to look the way you look!

For 334 days of the year life is a competition to be as normal as possible, but October is something different, something special for humans and non-hmans alike… October is a month that everybody is normal no matter who you are…

Does the werewolf have to hide from humans or other beings that might be suspect of your “curse”? Well, this is a very tough question to answer because it all depends on who the person you would like to tell (your secret to) is and what their agenda might be.

Sometimes it is important to keep your identity a secret. Not only could it prevent unnecessary conflicts but it can also lead to help with the preservation of the werewolf culture. The Werewolf is frequently inclined to talk about his or her curse with others so that they can try to relate to other humans. Not that the werewolf wants to be human but he often feels more in touch with humanity if others know that they are “curesd.”

Never tells your enemy that you are a werewolf! Doing so could cause some controversy and it could also lead to unnecessary blackmail from your enemies. If your enemy knows you are one with a curse they could use it against you in a number of ways. For one you could be captured just so that they could obtain your affliction! Believe it or not some “evil” people become werewolves by capturing a werewolf that they know… if an evil human becomes a werewolf they end up being an evil werewolf!

Is it ok to tell my family that I am a werewolf? Yes and no. Even though family will always be family some families are more open minded than others. If you come from a family that is not open minded to different ideas about humanity then you might have a difficult time telling them about your curse and they will have a difficult time believing that you are a werewolf. One thing is for sure, if your “gut” tells you not to reveal your secret werewolf identity to your family then you should not reveal it!

Can I tell classmates or my teacher at school that I am a werewolf? Maybe. Although you are always encouraged to tell your teacher everything you should probably think twice about telling your teacher or classmates about being a werewolf. Even though he (or she) will become a big influence on your life and you will spend alot of time with him it is often easier to NOT tell your instructor that you are a werewolf. You will more than likely be facing dozens of questions if you share your secret… some of these questions are ones you may not be wanting to share. Classmates are also difficult to share things with because if you do share rumors could spread around school faster than wildfire! Think twice before sharing with classmates… be certain that it will be fine with you if the much of the school is let in on your secret via the “rumor mill.”

How do you tell the difference between an evil werewolf and a “good” one is tricky because some werewolves can be quite sneaky. Some werewolves can trick you into making you think they are nice werewolves only to find out they are actually the evil ones. Usually good werwolves do not make you think they are evil ones, good werewolves are not as misleading.

A general Test:

So how can you detect an evil werewolf from a “good” one? Well the very first thing to do is to look at their reputation, look at their track record. Who are they friends with? How many people know they are actually a werewolf and what do those people think about him? If you have some information like this you could easily ask around to find out if the werewolf isgood or evil; this will help determine if the werewolf has deceived others in the past or not. While doing this research look for his or her behavioral patterns. Does he/she hang out with a pack that is known for evil acts? Not all werewolf packs are good packs, some are evil and only get together to cause trouble upon others. It is critical to find out if the pack he is involved in does cause trouble to the regular population. This method can be hard to research since you may not want to get involved or associated with werewolves. You may not want people to catch on to your suspicions, so if you are trying to keep a low profile this method is not a good one.

The Real Test:

This method is the most dangerous method of determining if you are dealing with an evil werewolf. This method is usually (and recommend to be) conducted on a friend who wants you to check to see if they are an evil werewolf or not. It is not a good test for strangers and is highly recommended that you do not try this method on someone you do not know! This is a simple but dangerous method if the friend turns out to be an evil wolf.

What you have to do is stand at eye level (or sit) at eye level facing each other. The werewolf has to be on one side and a human facing the werewolf. Two werewolves usually will not work because it is not easy for a werewolf to take another werewolf into the trance, which is the objective (What is the werewolf trance?). It is more common and so much easier for a werewolf to take a human… So while at eye level the human must stare deep into the eyes of the suspected werewolf, your task here is to see if the suspected evil werewolf draws (you, the human) into their trance. The most critical part here is to not be taken fully into the trance! So, if the werewolf really is evil you and your soul will be pulled, by force, into the werewolf trance, you have a window of opportunity to break away from this “pull” before you are fully subjected to it. While being pulled (if he/she is evil) you must act quickly and pull yourself and your soul back to your own body. It is important that while doing this you not touch the werewolf, touching him/her gives lends additional strength and energy that could very well over-power you and permanently draw to you into the trance.

The consequences

The “general test” does not have as severe consequences as the Real Test, the consequences are, generally, social. If caught snooping around in “somebody’s” business that does not want you snooping you might have to steer clear of these humans until things cool down. However, the Real Test could compromise your entire life! Lets say for instance your “friend” knows good and well that they are an evil werewolf. They accept or even propose an invitation for the Test and you are the human who should do “the check.” This is the perfect opportunity for the evil one to get a permanent servant! If he is successful in drawing you into the trance you will have to do everything that he says. You will no longer have free will, you will no longer be able to make your own decisions. The evil werewolf will keep you in this trance and it will be up to you to break out – it’s not easy.

Little information can be found about the consequences of looking an evil werewolf in the eyes for a long period of time. It’s usually not the eyes of a good werewolf, but the eyes of an evil one that can send you into a trance, a zombie-like state of mind, its very rare.

Why don’t people know of these consequences? Well, It is because few who have looked an evilwerewolf in the eye have survived to record it and tell us about it. It is said that by staring an evil werewolf in the eyes for a long time allows the werewolf to grab ahold of your soul giving him the ability to control it and thus you! Your unconscious body and mind will know nothing about the experience, when you wake up (if you wake up) you will likely not even remember it happened.

When the werewolf seizes control of your soul he can guide you and your body to do any task he needs carried out, usually tasks that a “servant” would carry out for his master. You would no doubt become the servant of your master werewolf and would have to serve him or her hand and foot.

There is no known body of information that tells us how to escape from this werewolf trance, we can only assume it is time that breaks the cycle and that if you can just hang in there and survive you have a chance overcoming the trance. But the longer you stay in the trance the less of a chance you have of escaping the grasp the werewolf has on your soul. You will eventually be dipping into the depths of evil and of course hell and will probably pass the threshold from good permanently into evil.

Whatever you do, if you come across a werewolf and end up looking at him face to face, do not keep eye contact with him.

What if your friend tells you her or she is a werewolf? What should you do? And what is the likelihood you can become a werewolf during your normal day? Here are some tips, suggestions, and places that are risky for humans to encounter a werewolf. Not all humans want to become a werewolf and most would not want to become an evil one! So here are some tips for humans…

For most humans it can be hard to believe for the first time, so first thing to do if you are human is not to react in a crazy manner and don’t be surprised to here about it. You actually might be dealing with a real case of a human with the curse and if you do react negatively or drastically you could put the werewolf in a bad mood, make him angry, or even scare him or her off, most humans don’t want to see a werewolf with bad temper. So, before you try to discredit him or her and make them mad or scare them away, see if you can help diagnose them, that is, if they come to you seeking help or answers to find out if they really are one. Sometimes a real werewolf is just looking for someone who they can confide in, someone who can keep a secret.

What are the chances you are dealing with a friend who is a werewolf? Well, chances increase under certain conditions and at certain times.Becoming a werewolf while at school is rare, so if you spend most of your time at school you have a less chance of being afflicted by the curse, but it is not impossible, there is an exception for night schoolers- your chances increase!

However, some social situations carry a greater risk of becoming bitten; for example, you do have a greater chance of being bitten if you are out late at night, especially during the full moon. But the full moon does not have to be up for you to become cursed. There are cases of catching the curse of the werewolf on any night no matter if the full moon is high or not, but your chances increase the later you are out on any night. Why? Because most werewolves are creatures of the night so at nighttime is the best chance to find a fully transformed werewolf. Keep in mind the transformation will last well into the early morning hours, so after the moon has risen, rule of thumb is to stay in a group if you are going to be out, and stay in a well lit and crowded area. This rule might not 100% stop an attack but it will atleast help a little by keeping you more calm and collected if an attack were to happen especially because you will not be alone.

Also, never forget that the more mischievous the people you hang out with, the more of a chance you have of encountering a wolf. Since mischievous kids hang out in groups causing trouble and often go to deserted areas to cause this trouble you’re risking an evil affliction of the curse. Why evil? Well, this is a wolf that you don’t want to encounter, the ones who attack groups of kids causing trouble because the fact is that most werewolves who do bite humans are evil werewolves and this trait can be passed on to you if you are bitten by an “evil” werewolf. So if you are looking for a way to become bitten this is not a good choice or way to go about it because the curse that random werewolves carry is too great of risk for human. The werewolf might have the “evil” disease, and for most human bodies this a curse so strong it can be hard to handle and control; more than likely this will become an evil affliction.

So, if your friend does tell you they are a werewolf find out where and when they got bitten (assuming it’s a bite) and judge whether they were bitten by a possible evil wolf. If your frined was bitten by a evil werewolf you should take great caution while alone with your “new” werewolf friend.

Main thing to do if your friends tells you they are a werewolf is to remain calm, ask some questions, but don’t be too pushy. If they don’t want to answer some questions they don’t have to, just give them some space and some time. Give them the benefit if the doubt.

Do werewolves age? Does a werewolf age faster than a human? Do werewolves age slower than other animals? Does a werewolf stop aging like a vampire?

The topic of the aging process of a werewolf is controversial, everyone has an opinion on this topic!

Aging Faster?

People who think that werewolves tend to age faster than humans take this position from the experiences they have as a werewolf. With the weight of a werewolf comes the transformation process, this process does take a physical toll on the human body and the mind. The extreme conditions during tranformation can cause the body and mind to age (semingly) faster than a normal human. But werewolves should not consider this a proper way to gauge your age in human years. Even though transforming does put stress to the body this stress can be counter soothed by healthy lifestyle practices. For example, when an athlete trains and becomes physically stronger in his (or her) attempt to play a physically exhausting sport their participation in this sport does not mean (necessarily) that they will die at an earlier age. Proper techniques for caring for the body ( and mind) during for post physically exhausting activities is essential to recovery. Many athletes take a break from exhausting activities and allow time for recovery, the werewolf is not exception. The werewolf must allow time after the transformation for the mind and the body to heal itself before the next shift. The natural period between shifts is (just one reason) why a natural transformation comes only once a month, the body mind and soul cannot handle the type of demands of shifting more than the natural cycle. Those who do shift more than their natural cycle do open the window to an unhealthy and faster aging lifestyle and like an other (unhealthy) lifestyle it will come with consequences.

Aging slower?

This is in the mind. Werewolves do not age slower than humans do. What gives us an impression that a werewolf would age slower than a human is the life experience that the werewolf goes through in the mind and body. The mind becomes more accustomed to decision making, to making choices at an earlier age, to suffering consequesces at an earlier age, all of this gives the werewolf more life experience (sometimes at an early age) than a normal human. With experience comes wisdom. But don’t let this wisdom get to your head, even though you know many of the ins and outs of life before your human friends do you are still at the same disadvantage as the human is when it comes to aging. As for the body, the aging process of the body does not slow down when you shift, consider the shift a disadvantage if you do not follow proper safeguards during and after shifts.

Immortality?

Possibly the most well known of the aging process, brought to you by popular culture. Consider the immortality of a werewolf a myth. We are all born, live, then die; it’s a cycle we all go through. Werewolves and humans are animals who abide by this cycle.

So how do you calculate the age of a werewolf? Look in the mirror! If you are not happy with how you look and how you are aging, if you think that the shift or something else is making you age faster than normal than it’s time for a lifestyle change! Remember you are always in control of your shift and post shift, take care of yourself and time will take care of you too.

Many falsely claim that becoming an alpha or leader is an ascribed status, one that is handed to you at birth whether you choose it or not, mostly through a high status lineage. The false claim is that if you are from a high status lineage within a wolf family you will automatically lead the pack and lead the ranks. However, I am afraid this is false. There are many pack family members of the noble classes of wolves who cannot handle becoming alpha and lead the ranks

Read on…

How can you become leader of the pack? Leaders of the pack are not chosen by lineage, the basis of choosing the alpha and lead a pack is an achieved status. That is, you have the ability to earn this position, through rank, leadership skills, or other abilities and or traits that you might have attained in your life. If you are skillful in many areas, in more areas than your peers, you will more likely to be chosen to become the leader. Some are strong hunters,or efficient navigators… Remember though, that if you are the son or daughter of a “great” leader or elder it is likely that you have “training” or many skills passed down to you that others might not have achieved yet.

You must take into account many qualities of the “leader in question.

Leadership and difficult decisions: Some qualities of leaders of packs? If the wolf wanting to become leader does not have, for one, the ability to make tough choices in times of danger you might not quite make it to leadership. If you are wanting to become the leader there are certain qualities that will help you along. For one, you must be able to make difficult decisions in times of need, danger, or emergency, the pack will look to you for your decisions and leadership. Many times you will not have much time to decide and you will be the one to make the calls. The tough decisions must be for the benefit of the entire pack… can you make these quick difficult decisions? Becoming leader of your pack means you will be responsible for all decisions you make, and if you make too many bad decisions you could be kicked off of the helm. You must be strong in your personality and commitment to your fellow pack members.

Guidance: The leader of the pack has an enormous emotional attachment and commitment to his pack. For as long as you are leader, the entire pack will look to you for guidance through personal decisions and pack decisions. Many leaders learn too much about their pack because they have to act as the “confidant” never being able to repeat personal information received from other members of the pack, even if you ever do loose this position. Are you strong enough to have this weight on your shoulders?

Some are cut out for it, some are not: Like i mentioned before, if you are son or daughter of a wolf elder who had many skills, and these skills were passed down to you, you have a great advantage over your peers and have a strong ability to become leader, if you are chosen!

The ability to become leader of a pack can be achieved, whether you are from a high status lineage family or from a low status family. This is not an elite system of rank, you can earn the leadership and respect no matter who you are. Many of the greatest leaders of packs are not from high status backgrounds and are just from “normal” families and lineage. These leaders of packs worked up the ranks for their success, working the ranks allows for freedom of the packs leader. Meaning that at any point in time the leader of the pack can be challenged for the position.

Can the leader be challenged out o his position? Yes, leaders can be thrown out, if you think you can win the challenge. A loss of confidence in the leader by members of the pack can determine a new leader must be sought out. If all members agree due to whatever circumstances has made the leader loss his ability to lead, a new leader can and will be chosen. There of course must be evidence of such a circumstance, most members must be united in their decision to remove the leader and a successor must be chosen. The successor has to be the next wolf pack leader who is qualified to handle the responsibility.

All leaders and alphas must remember: That the old and the weak will be replaced with the strong youth and this could happen at any point in the pack leaders command…

(more on this to come…)

The most common argument from people who do not believe in werewolves is the one that goes like this…

“Do you physically transform into a werewolf? When the moon rises do you transform and have your claws and fangs and go around chasing people down like an animal. And when this happens have I seen it? I need to see you chasing people around with your furry paws, and big fangs, and huge claws, and drooling face, and I want to see you howling at the moon too!”

Humans love this argument, they love to say that unless they themselves can sit there, see, and watch a werewolf transform that they will never believe in it, and therefore no other human being should believe in it since they do not. These non believers think that they must see for themselves a physical shift into some sort of wolf, mostly the stereotypical type wolf that has huge claws, fangs, and must terrorize people. But these are also the same people who do not need proof or can find “alien” videos on the internet and be like “oh that has got to be real” yet these werewolf non believers do not have to physically see the alien to believe, the internet is their proof. And unfortunately these are the same very non believers who do not believe in the divine being who created the world to begin with. Yet history is littered with stories of half man half animal beings dating back nearly the beginning of modern humans, and on top of that ancient religions of all sorts that most human beings believe in.

The physical shift argument.

Do non believers need to see a p-shift to believe it? No. Absolutely not. For one, the non believers, if they ever did see it would still never believe it. Commonly these humans would say that they needed to “see it again” or would would even go as far as to call themselves crazy before believing what their eyes and mind told them. For another, werewolves, modern day werewolves, mostly do not agree that sharing this personal experience with a human who cannot shift and does not believe in the shift to be worth it. The non believers will only bring negativity to the shift, this type of negativity can have negative effects on the transformation for a couple of reasons. If you do not truly believe you have no business around such a spiritual movement. If a non believer were to attend a shift the negative energy and non believing forces that emanate from his being will only hinder the process and most times the shift will not even happen. This is true for most spiritual movements and involvements, if you do not believe you cannot contribute and therefore should not be around.

Now, their defense to this would be something like “see you don’t want me there because it doesn’t happen.” But the fact is that if this non believer shows up to a spiritual shifting or transformation ceremony most likely the shift will not happen. The shift is intended mostly as a personal experience with only others who believe or can do it to attend, it is a ritual of a sort that must be contained to people who will not halt the process strictly to believers of the process. Unless the non believers all of the sudden can create a real belief in his heart, mind, and soul he or she should never attend a p-shift or m-shift. Take the negativity and disbelief elsewhere.

These very same humans who do not believe have been infiltrated by the Hollywood stereotype of the movie werewolf.

Their mind has been shaped and molded by the Hollywood zoo, too many movies and they think a werewolf is actually what you see at the theater. Any real werewolf can tell you that the movie werewolf is not a real werewolf, Hollywood werewolves are not the real werewolves. Yet this is what the non believer thinks of when they think about werewolves. It is not their fault, mass media infiltration has shaped their minds into thinking in a certain way and the way that they think will never be broken they will forever be stuck to what the mass media tells them. They walk in a straight line, follow the rules that others set up and never stray off the beaten path of what they are told by these people. However the werewolf mind, one could say is an “old soul” that is not boxed in by the humans reality. Werewolves create their own boundaries of what can happen and what will happen. The werewolves are the ones who succeed and prosper because they are not limited to the imagination of others and create no limit to what they can do in this world.

Weighted ones are not limited by the rules the humans create, rather werewolves have no limits.

Non believers can be stuck inside the box and werewolves and the believers will forever be thinking outside the box, they will shape this world into what they believe in, not into something that “others” think it has to be because their mind cannot go beyond what it was trained to do.

Their (nonbelievers) mind is limited. Where a werewolf mind and the mind of the believer has endless possibilities in this world.

One of the most difficult things about becoming a werewolf is that there is no guidebook on how to act, be, or live. You have to learn how to be a werewolf on your own. When you are a human, you have human parents, siblings, and friends to guide you as you grow and learn. But as a werewolf, there is often nobody around to show you the basics. You become a werewolf, and then must struggle with trying to figure out what that means and entails. How to think – what to think – how to deal with your new emotions – how to be – all of these things are questions that you must answer on your own. Being a werewolf is difficult, especially in its early stages as you try to learn who and what you are.

The basics on being a werewolf…
#1 – Live by the full moon….at first.
When you first become a werewolf you will feel like you are a slave to the moon. You will feel like the moon controls the way you feel, act, look, and behave. The moon effects humans as well, but as a werewolf you will feel it stronger. But this does not continue forever. With time, you will learn to control the moon’s influence over you.

#2 – Learning about yourself never stops.
When you are a werewolf, every day you will learn something new about how you think, perceive things, behave, act, and what you can do. Do not think you will learn everything you need to know within the first few months. And do not think you can learn everything you need to know without the help of others. Learning is an ongoing process, and if someone offers to teach you something from their experience, take advantage of it!

#3 – What you have been, are, and will be – how you shape your future – is up to you.
Being a werewolf does not mean that you have to be a certain way. All the stereotypes of the werewolf do not necessarily pertain to you. You can shape who you are, and who you want to be. It is all within your control. Do not let others tell you that werewolves are a certain way. Each individual werewolf is different and can control the direction he or she takes their lives in.

One question that I’ve seen come up now and again by the skeptical of werewolves is What do werewolves do?

Werewolves do not do anything special. They just are. It would be the same as asking what do humans do? Nothing either, they just are. For those who think werewolves are evil, and that is part of what they do, you are wrong. Werewolves do not exist to terrorize. Some werewolves do do that it is true – but those werewolves are typically fighting with some type of internal struggle. Just because a few werewolves terrorize does not mean werewolves exist to terrorize. They are similar to humans in that way – each werewolf is an individual. What a werewolf does is entirely dependent upon the werewolf himself.

So what do werewolves do? Werewolves do anything a human would do…plus more. Werewolves live, search for love, try to overcome problems. Werewolves eat, sleep, and play. Werewolves live where humans live. Plus they struggle to hide who they truly are from those humans in a more and more overcrowded planet.

You cannot negate the existence of werewolves by saying you do not know what they do. For those who doubt the existence of werewolves and therefore ask what do werewolves do? I challenge you to ask what do you do?

Whether or not a werewolf howls says alot about what kind of human and werewolf they are.

Werewolves that Howl
Werewolves that howl lean much more towards the animal side of their character. They prefer to be the “werewolf” instead of a human, and give themselves wholly up during transformation. They prefer to be in the werewolf state, and when they are in a werewolf state, they are strong and in control. They use the howl as reinforcement of these feelings. As a human, this type of werewolf has similar traits – they are typically outgoing, and often like to be in the center of the action. They know who they are and typically also know what they want.

Werewolves that do not Howl
Werewolves that do not howl lean more towards the human side of their character. Sometimes, what is causing the werewolf not to howl is that he/she is still resisting being a werewolf. They do not give themselves completely over during a transformation and may not be completely comfortable with the fact that they are werewolves. Another thing that can prevent a werewolf from howling is having a reserved personality. A werewolf that is shyer, quieter, or less social is less likely to howl. By their very nature they are more reserved and less likely to have the spontaneous nature that howling usually requires. Finally, one of the most common things that prevents a werewolf from howling, is having a cautious personality. This type of personality is actually quite good for werewolves, as it serves to protect the werewolf from being acknowledged or noticed by humans.

It has been said that when in werewolf form that the werewolves have no prospects, no dreams, no reality. Werewolves do live in the moment but most certaily have dreams and are aware of some of things happening to them, the problem is though that the intensity of being in werewolf form can overwhelm even the most experienced shape shifter. So how can you keep the intensity of being a shapeshifter under control?

Shapshifting is an art or skill just like any other, you have to learn how to control it and manage it just like most skills. Learn the drawbacks and consequences of shifting just as much as the benefits. But once you learn this, with experience you will become more self managed, and eventually when in werewolf form your mind will be free of the fog. The managed mind is probably the hardest of being wolf, it is difficult to take control of a mind that strays away from your normal human thoughts but it is definitely possible.

Train yourself to snap back to reality but do it first and master it first in human form.

Learn from your mistakes in human form, when you do something that you know that you should not be doing wake up into reality and make yourself take control. This is basic, to control the human half is important because if you cant control your human inside you may never be able to control the wolf.

Once you are able to cotnrol your human side accomplishing the difficult task of controlling the wolf while in werewolf form will be much easier. You are half way there once at this pont. The wolf mind will wander, sometimes wander itno thoughts your human side and wolf side will be unaware of, but with the mastering this skill you can make yourself and your mind snap back to reality. Dont let yourself lost control of the mind when in wolf form, train the human inside you to manage your thoughts, don’t let your thoughts stray into the unknown.

Wolves are powerful, use the strength of the wolf to its benefit of yourself and of others. Wolves never harm others, instinct of the wolf might think otherwise but since you have the human instinct make yourself snap back to reality and control, always protect fellow humans, and defend other wolves.

What goes on in the mind of a werewolf? The answer to this question is as varied as the answer to what goes on in the mind of a human. Different humans have different things going on in their minds. The same is true of werewolves.

To understand the werewolf mind, you have to understand the human mind. Human minds are interesting in that they are very different from that of animals. The animal mind operates alot on instinct. In humans however there is a constant internal dialogue going on in each person’s head walking them through decisions and actions. The mind of the werewolf is similar. Werewolf minds do not operate just on instinct as an animal would. They reason through decisions. Werewolf minds are also unique and individual to each werewolf – they are not part of a collective. This “human” state of mind of the werewolf continues even when the werewolf is in a transformed state. This is not to say that werewolves don’t sometimes lose control of their state of mind when their emotions become to0 strong. They can and they sometimes do, just as all creatures do.

Some werewolves weighed in with their insights:

Ryan
The mind of the wolf is not as animalistic as one may think. You are on alert at all times due to the intensity of your senses but you think, act, and function as normal as any other person.

DWolf
Wolves are individuals there is not one mind that is the same.
