The meaning of SIX:

Six is actually considered a “perfect” number and can represent truth, harmony, sincerity, and balance.   Six represents reliability, communication, and integration.  Six is also said to represent humanity and man (i.e. God created man on the sixth day).  The other interesting thing about the number six is that it can represent the “whole” against the “individual”!

Desperate werewolf

As a human, everyone knows what it’s like to be bullied by someone stronger. Everyone knows what it’s like to be humiliated by someone that’s smarter (or that thinks that they are). Everyone knows what it’s like to come in last place. But as a werewolf, this feeling will subside. However just because your new powers will bring you to the front of the pack in all these areas, you must not forget the lessons you learned as a human. Never forget your roots of humanity. It is not a weakness to remember, it is a weakness to forget.

1. You’re not very “unique” and every other human knows it, you’re old news, Human? boring!

2. Your emotions get the best of you!

3. You cant shape shift, transform, or change physical appearance.

4. You cant live forever, immortality is not an option for you.

5. You are weak, always will be… human strength is as low as you can get!

6. You are slow- naturally and physically!

7. You can’t fly… like a bird.

8. You can’t breath underwater… like a fish.

9. You don’t have invisibility powers.

Humans think they know everything about werewolves, but how much do they know about themselves? In fact, how much do you really know about humans? Some of these facts are hard to believe, but they’re all true…

It’s 10:30pm and I feel restless. I’ve tried to sleep but sleep eludes me. This seems to be happening to me more and more recently. At first I thought it must be something I’m doing – something that I was eating that was keeping me up, something that was on my mind that was bothering me, something that was distracting me that I didn’t realize, but more and more I’m starting to think it’s something else. Things just feel different somehow.  And not just at night.

During the daytime I find myself wanting to be outside more and more.  I live in a city, and I’ve never found a reason to want to be out in “nature” the way people in the country might feel. But for some reason, I’m wanting to be outside.  And I even feel jealous of people in the country that can go outside and just walk around a field or a forest or a hilltop.

I’ve found myself listening to the wind when I’m outside.  I feel a connection with the wind.  I’ve never really listened to the wind before… in fact, I didn’t even really know that you could.  But you can.  I’ve found you can hear things you didn’t even know were happening if you listen.  The wind carries in sounds of animals, insects, people.  You can hear things farther away than you think.  For how long have I been ignoring all these sounds?

So I’m laying here right now, unable to sleep.  Thinking about all the things that feel different to me, and wondering if anyone else feels the same.  These different feelings(?) these different instincts(?). Is this what the beginning of a shift feels like?

When I walk around I see everyone living their all-too-human lives and for a brief moment I am envious.  Envious of the simplicity of being human.  When you are human you automatically fit in with a crowd.  Humans do not really realize this.  I see it every day – how they think they are alone.  What they forget however, is that they sometimes may feel alone, but they are not.  Everyone around them is similar to them, and in times of turmoil or crisis, they will join forces, band together, and befriend one another to keep danger at bay.

But there are some things that are not so simple for humans.  And those things I am not envious of.  I am not envious of the worry that humans carry with them.  Humans worry so much about “things”. Small things – work, school, friends. But for humans, these small things can take over a life with worry. How do humans manage with the burden of all these things?  When you are different from human, when you have a secret you cannot share because it could threaten your very existence, there is no room for all these worries….and you find that the worries that humans find so important are miniscule.

Being human can sometimes be difficult.  And the more I watch them, the more I see this. But I think it is because they make it so.  If they had a secret – a burden – a curse – like mine would they understand this?

Because of this belief which seems to know no bounds, many hotels, hospitals, and other buildings do not even have a thirteenth floor!  And yet these same people – who believe in the power of this number – refuse to believe in something like werewolves?!  It is very interesting.

The fear of the number thirteen is known as Triskaidekophobia.

The truth however is that you are much the same type of person as a werewolf as you are as a human.
