Evil is you

Have you ever not been in control? Have you ever been in a situation where you felt you had to do something to help somebody in some manner, but couldn’t? Stood in the distance as somebody that you knew could use your help tried to help themselves only to result in failure…you are there, why not help? What is it in you that is telling yourself not to help? You can blame it on your body, but you are the one in control of your body, with approval of your brain. You can blame it on being tired, but even if you are tired and you really did want to help you would find the strength to help…wouldn’t you? You need to help this person yet you don’t, you sit and watch, only watch, watch as they suffer because of the lack of your help. It may not be the suffering resulting in death but you are letting them suffer to some extent. You can help, but you are not helping. You are evil. In whatever form of evil you want to put it, in whichever category, in whichever level of evil…a little bit evil and a lot of evil…evil is evil no matter how you spell it or how you act it out…sometimes you don’t have to even say a word to be evil.

I’d call that being more or less cowardly depending on the situation. Millions of people around the world could use your help, you know there are people dying that could have been saved, people ailing that could use your help, yet is it evil to not have enough money, time, or knowledge to help them all? Is it evil to not be able to save every person? It’s the Superhero complex. You can’t possibly help everyone. There are to many people if you try to help them all you’d die. Plain and simple the consequences for helping someone may put more people in need. Morality is such a fickle concept. I like saying fickle. And crack.

It all depends. There are those who deserve to suffer simply because of how they have done everyone and everything around them. Would I bother to help these people if I could? No. I’d sit back with a bag of popcorn and watch karma do it’s job. That wouldn’t make me evil. And not helping someone you can help who really doesn’t deserve to suffer, doesn’t exactly make you evil either. Heartless maybe, but evil.. no. Now if you caused the suffering, that is a different story all together
