Falkland Island Wolf

Whenever you talk about werewolves, the subject of wolves inevitably comes up. So it’s useful to be knowledgeable about the creature, as I’ve found that one of the first questions humans throw at you is about the wolf. The differences, similarities, history, etc.

So, in researching wolves, I came across one that is very interesting – the Falkland Island wolf – a now extinct native of the Falkland Islands, located in the South Atlantic Ocean near South America. One of the really interesting things about the Falkland Island wolf is that noone is quite sure how the wolf made it onto the island, as the Falkland Islands were never connected to the mainland, and are in fact close to THREE HUNDRED miles away from it! Another interesting thing about this wolf is that it was the only native mammal…NO other mammals were native to this island…which is very very odd. So what did this wolf eat? It is thought that it probably ate birds and insects.

@ireallyluvwerewolves: I agree with you. Because Pangea is a single continent that existed billion years ago. Because of this continent, I was used to beleive it has something to do why asian people look similar.
