Ghost Caught on Camera

For those who have a difficult time believing in things that are unusual, unproven, or mysterious, photographic evidence is typically what they call for. But what happens when these same people are confronted with photographic evidence? Do they accept what they saw as real? Will they even consider the possibility that it might be real? We know they don’t with werewolves. What about with other mysteries?

A family visiting Dudley Castle in West Midlands, England caught photographic evidence of what they – and many others – believe is a ghost. The image was caught on the family’s mobile phone and shows what appears to be the ghost of a lady and a child in one of the doorways of the castle. What makes this story even more interesting is that Dudley Castle is believed to be one of the most haunted castles in England – and one ghost in particular that is said to haunt the castle is an exact match of the photograph.

The ghost in question is the infamous “Grey Lady” of Dudley Castle. The Grey Lady is said to be the ghost of Dorothy Beaumont – a lady who lived during 1642 and had a daughter who died during childbirth. She is said to haunt the castle, and has been seen by numerous visitors over the years. Many are saying that this is one of the clearest images of her that has been taken. Skeptics are saying people are just seeing what they want to see in the picture. You be the judge.
