Halloween Candies featuring werewolves
Who doesn’t love halloween candies? Every year there’s a new kind to try – new flavor, new shape, new size (yes, bigger is better!) And every year, out come some candies specifically designed to look like, entice, or otherwise attract werewolves and werewolf fans. Here are some of the more unique werewolf halloween candies around…
SODA! In October, 2009, Jones Soda had a special limited edition brand of halloween soda cans available in Target stores. There were different flavors featuring “halloween monsters” prominently on the front of the can. A mummy, Frankenstein, and Dracula were represented, but the best was the Candy Corn flavor which featured a werewolf on the can!
COOKIES! Another of the more unique (or..err… should we say interesting?) halloween candies is called simply Werewolf Food. This candy is actually small cookies in the shape of “werewolf food” or “werewolf kibble”. The candy (cookie) is sold in a bowl-shaped package, giving it the appearance of, yes, kibble.
COTTON CANDY! If you were just reading my post on where to find good werewolf hair for your halloween costume, I guess you can add this one to the mix. This is EDIBLE hair though!! Sold in a little packet simply called “werewolf hair”, this is actually halloween candy corn in an ugly brown color. Matted in a ball it looks just like a wad of dirty hair. MMmmmm, looks good enough to eat! 😉
MINTS!! This I think is one of the cooler and more unique but simple looking halloween candies – they’re simply called Silver Bullet Mints! They come in a box featuring a werewolf on the front and are filled with mints shaped like silver bullets. Line them all up on a counter or on your desk and they actually look pretty cool.
