Harbor Moon werewolf graphic novel
Harbor Moon: “An action-horror graphic novel….”
The graphic novel Harbor Moon brought a little bit of werewolf mayhem when it debuted at the San Deigo Comic-con 2010.
The story unfolds in the tiny town of Habor Moon, Maine….a small town, with a monstrous secret.
The graphic novel, written, edited, and produced by Ryan Colucci and his team is a stunning take on a modern werewolf story. But it’s not just the story that will enthrall you, the artwork itself is enough to keep the reader thoroughly engaged. The images set a tone that is a special blend of the mysterious, secretive, and dark, creating a mood that has you at the edge of your seat, in anxious anticipation of the next page’s battle sequence. The overall dark tone of the book is injected with vivid shots of color throughout that engage your senses.
And then there’s the story. A plot with just enough twists and turns that the ending is unexpected, but thoroughly satisfying to werewolf and horror fans. With just enough text to tell the story, and plenty of beautiful imagery to keep you engaged, the writers have clearly found that balance that can sometimes be hard to accomplish.
Harbor Moon is a fun, thoughtfully written, visually engaging, and a thoroughly satisfying full sized graphic novel for werewolf fans.
SYNOPSIS:
“When professional soldier Timothy Vance receives information from
someone claiming to be his long-lost father, he takes a trip to out-of-
the-way Harbor Moon, Maine. It turns out that man hasn’t been there
in thirty years and pretty soon Tim’s life is in danger. Fighting for the
truth and his survival, Tim discovers that Harbor Moon is harboring a
secret. The entire town is werewolves and the man he was looking for
may be just like them. Just as a ruthless band of werewolf hunters
descend upon the town, Tim must decide whether he is going to stay
and fight or turn his back on what he really is.”

I’m not into graphic novels, but this sounds good.
For werewolf books I seriously recommend the wolfman 2010 book based on the movie by jonathan malberry. Its seriously brilliant.
Can someone list some others? I love werewolf books and would like to find some good ones to read.
@Aconissa: huge fan of the movie?
@Storm: Probably the greatest fan. I’ve saw it twice at the movies and innumerable times on dvd. Im thinking of getting the blu-ray version just cause it has extra stuff, even though i dont have a blu-ray tv 😀
@Aconissa: I don’t know many werewolf books, but I read a good one called Bitten. I believe it’s part of a trilogy but again I am not positive.
@Aconissa: got a play station3? Blue ray plays on it
@Zorath:
OMG I just bought a book in that series like 5 days ago! And I thought it was part of a trilogy, bitten, stolen & frostbitten (mine) but there’re like 12 books. The women of the otherworld series. Only some are about the werewolf though
@Storm: Unfortunately I dont, I dont own any gaming consoles. My parents think its bad for me
Hey all… first off – thanks for an awesome review!
Anyone that is interested, if you like werewolves – take a chance. I’m biased, but I don’t think you will be disappointed!
Shoot me an email ([email protected]), mention I Love Werewolves and I will send you $5 off the book.

I can’t wait to read it! I’m a fan of graphic novels in general, and I love nothing more than a good sci-fi story (especially one about werewolves).
your parents were good to keep you away from the video games…All the violence gives you a swift kick in the pants in the long run. I cant get my hands of zombie and horror games such as Alone in the dark, Dead space, the resident evils, dead rising 1 and 2, castlevania games (including the classic ones), left 4 dead 1 and 2, mass effect 1 and 2, borderlands, fallout 3, prey, team fortress 2, the witcher, and o so many more…Yes my mind is a little corrupted I’m not going to lie, but I like to think it gets me ready for the real world…whatever tf that is.
@pkletter92: Woah that is a lot of games… but I think it is good they kept me away too, I don’t really like those types of games. I prefer to be reading or writing or creating or watching tv 🙂
wow… i feel left out lol the only games i ever play are guitar hero beatles rock band and xxs tricky or is it ssx tricky… idrk dont have time for movies or tv anymore
reading books I do more than play video games…the kind of books im into though…well I dont think you would sleep very soundly if you read them.
i read ellen hopkins shes my faavourrite
@Aconissa: thats because your awesome…
@pkletter92: aw, shucks 😀
Hmmm… I might actually look into it. Though I need to finish the books I have first lol
Lunar… totally understand. If you’re interested, I can send you the discount and it’s good for however long you need.
Also, since it is a graphic novel – even though it is 140 pages – it is a breeze to read.
@Aconissa: 😛
@Lunar: The wereling series? It comes highly recommended…
@Aconissa: 😛
@Ryan Colucci:
