Harriet Tubman was a werewolf?
Harriet Tubman – the historical figure best known for her use of the “Underground Railroad” to free slaves….was also a werewolf? Well, not exactly. But a recent article in the Huffington Post by someone that watched Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter thinks that she would be a good choice to star in her own movie as a werewolf.
I disagree.
There is no question that any movie which takes a different look at a historical figure is interesting – but turning Harriet Tubman into a werewolf is a little bit of a stretch. Tubman’s life is so well-chronicled that it would be hard to see her as a werewolf. Perhaps she could be made into a hunter, similar to how Abraham Lincoln was made into a hunter. What famous person doesn’t have a secretive hobby or obsession?
