Mythical Monster Museum
Werewolves in a mythical monster museum? I have never before seen werewolves in a museum of any kind – mythical or real – until I accidentally came across a rumored museum that includes information on monsters and beasts such as gremlins, goblins, and trolls. The big problem with the museum (of course and obviously) is that not all these creatures deserve the “monster” title. And of course, not all these creatures deserve the “mythical” title either. But I suppose there has to be a place where humans can gather this information to share with other non-believing humans. I imagine the museum is probably similar to something like a small version of Ripley’s Believe It or Not. So the mythical monster museum it is – and they are propagating the idea that werewolves are both mythical and monsters by including them in with this lineup of monsters (like the orc!)! Humph!
But, it is interesting that werewolves are part of the museum. I have never been in the museum myself, so I do not know what kind of information they provide on the werewolf, or on all the other types of supposed “monsters” including:
- Little Creatures – Fairy folk, House Spirits, and Gremlins
- Ethereal Predators – ghosts, and poltergeists
- Beasts – Orc, Merfolk, Trolls
- Giants, dragons, and magical creatures like the genie
- Night Creatures – The museum’s final category which it lumps werewolves into is the “nighttime creatures” where it also besides werewolves includes mummies, zombies, and vampires.
The interesting thing about the last category is that the last category of creatures, if you look at them all, are all creatures that used to be human, while all the other categories not necessarily so. Interesting. The museum is in the Scarborough Faire in Waxahachie, TX.

Hello,
I am one of the owners of the Mythical Monster Museum. We also have a traveling version of the museum that visits several renassance festivals in Florida.
If you would like more information on the museum or our stance on what qualifies as a monster, please contact Magnus Krane or myself at Huntmonsters.com.
Thank you for your interest!
Sir Daniel Raptus:
