Obstacles for the werewolf – Werewolf967

Yield_Road_SignThe biggest obstacle for the werewolf is the werewolf himself (or herself). Fear of the unknown is difficult for the new or even old werewolf to overcome.

For the new werewolf obstacles are immediately put into your path since that life changing bite tore your skin and the disease began to take its course through your bloodstream. Is this new affliction a curse or a gift? Immediately thoughts take over your mind and this question is ultimately needing an answer and further investigation…

Can you carry the “curse” with you for life how ever long that may be? Can you embrace its negatives and positives? Werewolves are strong, yes, but they are also weak to being a human in its purest form… just human.

The worst is yet to come.. the first bite is only the beginning, the mental challenge gets worse, it enters your mind like a storm… cloudy, strong, and dark, it is confusing even to the strongest of souls… that begs a question you must think about…  Do you even have a soul anymore?

Can you handle the changes about to take place in your new life? Possibly! But! some others will reject the idea and immediately search for a cure to something they think is a curse for the worse.. Is this the right path though? Should you find a cure to your current troubles or take them on as they come and embrace it for what it is… this could be the best thing that has happened to you in your life so far….just think about this for a moment. Can you handle this shift?

Not to sound like a total douche but i think Werewolves can only become themselves with spells .3.; I don’t think biting a human would make the victim a werewolf is what i’m trying to say.

Second of all: Yes, yes you do still have a soul with the wolf soul sharing your body.

Third of all: I have readies myself for the life-change, i’ve came here last year and talked a lot on how i’m gonna change, but eh, i still want to become a Werewolf no matter what. (shrug)

I don’t anderstand how the werewolf cures goes from generation to generation because my mom and dad don’t have it but my cousin and me have it.And were pretty confused to why is this happinig to us and why now.
BTW we love this site it has help’t us a lot

  8. Lycanhope says:

@David: That would be because it’s not genetic and a pure coincidence.

  9. David says:

@Lycanhope: Then how did we get the cures in the first place.

  10. Lycanhope says:

@David: It’s not a curse, it’s just what you are.
And it’s caused by random psychological developments. Nothing special or destiny-esque about it, you just drew the short straw on the giant RNG of life.
The current scientific label is species dysphoria, not to be confused with clinical lycanthropy, but that’s just therapist fancy talk.

  11. David says:

@Lycanhope: But is it save to tell some of my friends what I am?

  12. Lee Ann says:

Actually it would be an X linked carriage in your parents or grandparents genotype…

  13. Lycanhope says:

@Lee Ann: Not really. If it were genetic it would imply a mutation, and we would be the only ones with that combination of genes. Then lets presume some of the other myths may or may not be true for the sake of argument (transforming, enhanced senses, etc), that would be even more genes that nobody else has. This would be noticed in a heartbeat by even a casual blood analysis, and would make headlines.
    Therefore, not genetic.

  14. Lee Ann says:

Hmm… it could be a mutation that’s a good point, but even then it would show up as an anomaly in the karotype or any sort of scan.. At least the ones where they break down and sort through all of your information..

  17. ok I was born a wolf blood but im just starting highschool I don’t undertand a word ur saying

  18. llyon says:

@purewolfblood: he is simpily stating his idea of how it occurs is random. and offering a good reason as to why he belives that the wolf trait isnt genitic. it would show up in a normal blood test and thus it would be posted as a 6pm new cast on tv. lee-ann is say there is a good chance it can be because of the alterations to ones body. wolves are normally very… extensive, for as many people in the world with their own ideas there are as many theroies and “truths” about the lycan populus and ways to become one or how it passed on.

  19. if this is true am human but i feel trapped like am in the wrong body i feel like i should be a wolf instead

  20. Lycanhope says:

@wolfbeliverfact: And why do you believe that to be so?

  21. Whitewolf says:

It would not be plausible that a wolf, or a werewolf, would just go ,nip, you’re a werewolf! Usually even a wolf would tip you to pieces because you are provoking them to bite you. So the whole bite thing is fake.

  22. ArgentineBlood says:

I agree that many recently-bitten werewolves would be nervous about what they became, especially since they might not have another experienced werewolf to guide them! It’s sad that there are so many ‘rogue’ werewolves out there. You’d be surprised to know how many find it ‘funny’ to bite inocent people and make their lives a living hell (or not!)
