Paraskevidekatriaphobia

Tomorrow is the last Friday the 13th of 2009! This year we’ve had 3 Friday the 13ths, which is the most that is possible in any year.

Paraskevidekatriaphobia is the fear of Friday the 13th.
Friday the 13th is not just feared by movie fans afraid of Jason Voorhees – alot of people are superstitious of the day. It is said that Napoleon was afraid of Friday the 13th. As was Henry Ford. Even a former president – Franklin Delanore Roosevelt (aka FDR) changed his travel plans so he would not have to leave on the 13th. So don’t feel lonely if you are a bit cautious of the day. Many many millions of people around the world will be being cautious as well.

Many people loved friday the 13th and weren’t paraskivdekatriaphobic. President Woodrow Wilson loved the number 13. He even made a ship wait a day at sea so he could pull into the port on friday the 13.
