3 Steps to Self Control for werewolves

I saw a recent comment to werewolves encouraging them to learn self-control – to gain control over your emotions and desires.  This is a great piece of advice.  Werewolves need to learn the steps to self control so that they can function in the human world without revealing themselves for who they are.  It can be all too easy to reveal yourself by having your temper flare up at the wrong time, or losing your focus and shifting at the wrong time.  The result could mean humans hunting you…

Self control – learning to control your impulses and first instincts are extremely important to the werewolf.

1.  The first step in self-control is identifing where you lack control.  This can be a very difficult thing to do because it is not always easy to acknowledge where you may need help.  Pride and ego often get in the way trying to convince you you have no problem.  Set those two emotions aside and look really carefully inwards.  Identify the area you just can’t seem to handle.  If you cannot find it, seek the advise of someone close to you and knows that you’re a werewolf.  Those that know you also know the situations in which you lose your temper.

2.  Identify your trigger.  Now that you know where you lack self-control, what is triggering it?  Is it an action that you or someone else does that triggers it?  Is it a specific human, werewolf, or vampire?  What causes you to lose control??

3.  Once you’ve identified your trigger, take action through self-denial!  Break your habits! You know where you lose it, you know what causes it, the next step although the easiest to say is the hardest to do…take steps to change your reaction!  You must deny yourself the luxury of reacting how you want to.  Break the habits that cause you to lose control!

Understand that  you cannot live as a werewolf without  control.  There are too many dangers in today’s human world, and you can’t afford for yourself to be contributing as one of those dangers.

    • Lycanhope says:

      You don’t.

    • You can do a spell or curse yourself. You can get bitten or scratched,or your born that way.
If you want a spell or spell search on YouTube “Wolf spells”

    • MiniBeardedDragon743 says:

Well I was born with my gift b7t if you aren’t born you have to get bit and from what I hear its really painful

Thank you!!!!! I’m a werewolf and I lose my temper all the time! But there is another way to do it: Get someone you LOVE enough that you would risk your life to save and be with them when you transform. Your love will fight back the anger and you won’t have to worry about attacking them! Once you know you can’t attack them, you get them to help you! This is how I managed to start controlling myself, but this helped with some other unsure parts!

  2. original hybrid says:

most spells to become a werewolf dont work

there are some that do but you need to do black magic for that and do the ritual

  3. Connor Lane says:

This didn’t help me…. I’m still having problems with control. If anyone could help that would be great.

  4. Evaluna says:

@Conor lane what you can do is have a lycan bite you or be infected by its blood there are three ways of becoming a werewolf 1.be born in a werewolf blood line aka be born in a family were werewolves blood runs 2.be bitten by one the bit of a werewolf is srtong enough to turn you like him/her 3.be infected by the blood what i mean about this is you know how blood brothers and blood sisters are made when both of then cut their finger and press them together and all that craziness yeah thats what you have to do but not with a human but with a werewolf i hope this helped

  5. Evaluna says:

i mean what i said above to @Brad

  6. Bethan says:

You don’t want to become a werewolf / Lucan. Trust me !

  7. LegendLupe046 (Alpha of the Lunar Apocalypse Pack) says:

@Bethan curious, and what would you know about becoming a werewolf/Lycan? (Proper way to say it)

  8. Karl Ellinton says:

Hey, how often do you guys change?

  9. LegendLupe046 (Alpha of the Lunar Apocalypse Pack) says:

@Karl well if by “you guys” meaning Werewolves, then Werewolves shift normally by will (unless involuntary transformation) so I’m guessing we “change” as often as we choose I guess

  10. LegendLupe046 (Alpha of the Lunar Apocalypse Pack) says:

I could totally comment on everything on this section lol

  11. Kayla says:

Well I was born a werewolf live is a little harder than what you guys think. Self control isn’t the only thing you have to watch out for it is the sent of blood you have to worry about.

  12. Sebastian says:

I think I might be one if I am I haven’t changed yet. I’m 14. I was born on a full moon the first one of the year and for some very strange reason I had furry ears. I act funny at full moon time and I prefer animals to people I’m always hungry and my teeth are really sharp and I annoyingly keep biting my tongue and lips. I’ve been growing more irritable as well. Some have said I’m a werewolf but I thought they didn’t exsist I’m confused what do you think, your experts right?

    • Lupe says:

      In myth or legend, perhaps..

If you are looking for real life, probably not. If you’re wondering why, these are not related to werewolves.

    • EmCWolf says:

      Exactly, Lupe.

Sebastian, I mean no offense, but the “symptoms” you list appear to stem from fictional portrayals of werewolves. In reality, preferring animals isn’t unusual, nor is having a larger appetite throughout puberty (which you’re currently experiencing since you’re 14), and having sharp teeth. Irritability is also a side effect of the hormonal changes during puberty, not something to be overly concerned about.

From the symptoms you’ve listed, it would seem that you’re simply experiencing the usual effects of growing up. I do understand the need to belong somewhere and feel special – we all feel that way, especially during our teen years. You’ll find your place. 🙂

  13. Well I was born with my gift b7t if you aren’t born you have to get bit and from what I hear its really painful

  14. Patrick Morgan says:

I’ve been bitten recently, but my powers came in insanely fast. The websites I’ve gone to say you have to wait for the full moon for your 1st transformation, but mine was 2 days ago. Is that bad.

  15. wolfy says:

@patrick morgan your not a wolf, the bite is fiction there is no way to become a werewolf you can only be born one

  16. wolfy says:

@patrick morgan also come on to the main chat that where there is people to talk to:)

  17. HigherSelf says:

No , you can use werwolf subliminal or any other mythtical being subliminals too they always work if you belive and wait enough.
In old times people didnt have access to interenet so they used spells but you only need your subconscios mind trust me

    • Lupe says:

I like the way you think; it’s mainly psychological. Doesn’t guarantee results, nor the results you’re looking for tho, but this seems more than likely.

  18. W. says:

You shouldn’t do a spell to turn into a werewolf or get scratched or bitten it’s a curse it’s not a gift it’s horrible you are bound by the moon and are forced to change unless you control it which is difficult and I’m a werewolf from a family curse 🙁

  19. Tameeka o'sullivan says:

im a werewolf I was bitten by a wolf when I was three and I need help to control myself

  20. Abigail says:

I’m a werewolf alpha from my mom, we try to stay away from people and only go out for school it’s annoying because I know my friends are petrified of werewolves so I can’t tell anyone 🙁

  21. Abigail says:

Look just try to talk to your mom or track the alpha of your pack you should smell the scent , I’m the alpha of my pack x

  22. Abigail says:

    I was born one
