Where werewolf transformation begins the answer! What is the cause?

Ah, werewolf967, you misunderstand me! I do not believe that the werewolf transfromation begins at the core of the body, but rather that the core of the body is the very last part to transform into a werewolf – it is the “core” so it is the hardest….like you are saying, the heart and soul would be the hardest to convince to “give up” or “give in” to the werewolf transformation itself…so it seems we kind of have the same idea on where the werewolf transformation begins!

I do think we differ on what causes the werewolf tranformation. I believe that it is an infection, whereas you believe the transformation happens due to a “possession” during the full moon. There are I think references in literature and movies to support both theories. On the “infection” line of thought, there are those that say that just by being bitten by a werewolf will cause you to become a werweolf yourself. In my mind, this makes the most sense biologically, because there are so many infections and viruses and parasites that can spread through bites and saliva (rabies! colds!) that it seems logical that whatever is causing the tranformation is communicable like a disease. It is infectious…and…as an infection, would invade a would and spread throughout the blood stream, thus causing the werwolf transformation. If werewolves are real, in my mind this is what is causing it. And in answer to your question, since it is merely an infection, yes, the man inside the werewolf still has a soul. The soul did not leave the man when he transformed, rather it became infected by the virus, causing him to act unhumanlike or animallike.

On the other hand, it sounds like you believe that the transformation is due to a possession during the full moon. Now you’re right, there is no doubt that ancient – and modern – legends certainly claim this to be the case. But the question werewolf967 is how does the moon cause a man to transform into a wolf? This seems to go more into science fiction that dealing with straight science. And also, are you saying that werewolves have no soul? Isn’t there such a thing as a good werewolf?

a bite by one may crate the change think of it like this you get bit they put a virus into your blood the virus changes how your cells work.
i got no idea what im going though my self. got insane meat craves latey random fang pain and neary lost of self of control thats hard to fight at times lately want to attack stuff and kill been fighting that for the past month when it started. all my life i can hear sounds no one can hear i can hear a dog whistle loud and clear hurts my ears badly and drives me insane. im shock that if i lose control and go into a blank rage from someone starting a fight with me i can regain self control in 35sec at the most. yeah i think it may be something like a virse i was born with or something your story mite be right think about some virus dont harm the body but change how it works for one im having odd heart pain that feels like a heart attack mix with heart burn for the past month so far seems harmless

the moon changes ocean water level who knows what it may be for one panda bears were once in myth but now no one even knows that some myths real some fake but in olden times many humans from around the world had some of the same mythology dragons are one thir myth is in china and other parts of the world in past times be for todays technology so who realy knows whats out there. humans have seen about 15% of the ocean floor so that shows there is stuff out there we cant see or is yet to be found

@Joseph: Are you incinuating that you are showing signs because you are “infected” with a virus? Werewolves are born and most dont show signs until around 15 or 16 years old. Craving for meat, sensitivity to high-pitched sounds, short temper, increased physical ability, etc. appears and, I would like to say, worsen for the individual.

    Its inconvienient.

I’m 14 and i am feeling very angry at random times close to the full moon. I have a very short temper around the full moon as well as the desire for raw meat. Yesterday i had a similar burning experience in my chest. I feel pain all over during the full moon, but I stay human.I have also gain a great sense of smell; I can smell a steak from 3/4 of a mile away. I was never bitten by any thing, but my family’s past has been mysterious. Which reminds me, I’m related to Amelia Earhart. No joke!

Hey, this book I’m reading has everything I read on here it’s call ‘Bitten’. it’s about a girl who had a boyfriend but he bit her and she went though all this pain but got though it. But it saids not everyone lives getting bit because when a werewolf bites you you would die strit away less you can handle it but most people die. And it saids that when a human runs they can’t help but run after them because it’s part of there natrue. It has the pack in it and all the rules and the ones that are not in a pack is call mutts. It has how they can’t stand to wear any perfrom on them because it annoys them and makes it hard for them and they hate it. Has old storys about werewolves in it. The one how that man cut off a wolf paw and it turns into a hand and he finds out it’s he’ wife. Even has how they creep people out with the eye thing. It has how they hurt and how hard it is to hold but from looking around killing a human in wolf form. It’s the best wolf book I have ever read. And yes some bits in it is scary. Because I can image it and it also saids how they hurt the human down and freek them out. But like you said books and movies are fake and not real. But not joking reading though the book stuff in it stand out and it’s because of this site. o.O Is me or have some of you have read this book? Not to get on your bad side I’m just. 🙂

I’m up to the bit how they just got attak by three mutts and main chartar is saying that her pack doesn’t asked queions because they know the alpah knows what he is doing.

  8. Ilikepizza you can get turned but werewolves don’t like to do that and there are a few spells but they have rare ingredients and some of them are very dangerous. I’m a purebred werewolf so I would know but I am assuming that you are too. Also you’re missing a LOT of symptoms and traits of a werewolf.

  9. For you guys that don’t know a purebred werewolf is born or put is the 7th generation of a werewolf family.

  10. william says:

Dude so what category do I fall on? Werewolf category?

  11. da'mual lycon says:

elderwolf you say your a purebred wolf. do some studing on your lineage my race has be protecting the Lycon lineage since 1644 some of the first pure bred lycanthropy familys my name is da’mual lycon we watched there lineage for centurys ive never heard of a 7 generation purebred infact if you are a 7th generation pure bred you be born in 1804ish along with john lycans and eliabeth syck im an 11th gen pure bred when a pure bred is born warrior or king it dont matter you go thro a blessing of the goddess there are very few pure bred wolfs left but then you have the ones who claim they are such a shame

  12. Lycanhope says:

@Elderwerewolf777 and da’mual lycon: You both need to take your games elsewhere.

  13. ainsumLe says:

@da’ mual lycon (or whatever your name is) I don’t know what your talking about. Werewolves don’t need protection. At least, not me anyway. We can handle ourselves, but thank you for your concern

  14. Lycanhope says:

@ainsumLe: I wouldn’t bother engaging him. Just ignore him and hopefully he’ll go away.

  15. ainsumLe says:

@lycanhope true… I just thought I’d let him know though, but your probably right.. Don’t need him making anyone loose their temper

Can a dog give you that virus

  18. Alpha says:

No you answered wrong, put some sarcasm into, like this ehem, “Yes, every single person in the entire world who has been bitten by a dog is a werewolf” then fallow this up with a short sweat, “Dumb ass”

    • Lycanhope says:

Honestly, it’s just too stupid to waste sarcasm on. Like, you pretty much nailed on the head why this is a baffling piece of nonsense. I’m struggling to comprehend the dumb.

    • zilver says:

      i like that. *thumbs up*
