wolfman werewolf review

What a waste of time! The more I think about the movie The Wolfman the more I dislike it. To the werewolf community don’t waste your time… to horror fans, It’s not all that.

What was surprising about The Wolfman movie?

First of all, I never saw the original movie so I had no expectations for what I would see. I was (pleasantly) surprised from a horror movie fan perspective to see that the werewolf movie did not hold back on the R rating. I didnt even know it was rated R until heads were flying and blood was splattering. So, to my surprise I was entertained when they did not hold back the Hollywood werewolf from tearing up the screen. I was also surprised that it was not at all scary. While the Hollywood werewolf did do alot of killing is was not scary at all… fail…

What was not surprising about the werewolf movie?

The Hollywood werewolf was definilty not a shock. I knew going in that Hollywood created this movie long ago and this was going to be a remake. I was/am always excited to see another werewolf movie hit the screen and ready for them to be talked about some more… I <3 werewolves … all kinds…

What was the problem with Lycan film?

Everything! From a werewolf fan standpoint and not a a horror fan standpoint I would say that the movie is really just a flashy, gruesome, flesh hungry toy that Hollywood wanted to throw around so get some oooohs and ahhhs from horror fans, but even failed to do that in many cases. This movie was not made for the werewolf community.

Does The Wolfman accurately portray the werewolf community?

HAH! Please! This wolf movie is not even close to how and what werewolves really are, what they represent, what they stand for, and who their identity is!

I’m not at all shocked that the movie turned out the way it did, it was created back a loong time ago and brought back to life without being updated to the present.

There are many who can’t get the Hollywood werewolf out of their heads, this includes, yup, you guessed it! Hollywood! They will continue to see lycanthropes as an evil monster, animals who want to hunt and kill. Sometimes we just have to let ourselves be entertained, if they can even do that!

Should you see the lycanthrope movie The Wolfman?

If you are part of the werewolf community you will probably not like this movie. If you are a horror movie fan you might be entertained by the heads flying and bodies being thrown around. Except there is a big problem for the horror movie fans… it’s not scary.

The werewolf community knows better, we know that what the public sees from Hollywood standpoint is just an insult to those who deeply and truly know what a werewolf really is.

Better luck next time Hollywood.

I wish to see this for MYSELF, if you please! I don’t really care how it displays our race, because it’s purely fictional. (The generalized concept of a werewolf) As long as you keep that in mind, it’s fine. It’s not like any of us are going to reveal ourselves any time soon. (Someday……but not today.)
