The Basics on Being a Werewolf

One of the most difficult things about becoming a werewolf is that there is no guidebook on how to act, be, or live. You have to learn how to be a werewolf on your own. When you are a human, you have human parents, siblings, and friends to guide you as you grow and learn. But as a werewolf, there is often nobody around to show you the basics. You become a werewolf, and then must struggle with trying to figure out what that means and entails. How to think – what to think – how to deal with your new emotions – how to be – all of these things are questions that you must answer on your own. Being a werewolf is difficult, especially in its early stages as you try to learn who and what you are.

The basics on being a werewolf…
#1 – Live by the full moon….at first.
When you first become a werewolf you will feel like you are a slave to the moon.  You will feel like the  moon controls the way you feel, act, look, and behave. The moon effects humans as well, but as a werewolf you will feel it stronger. But this does not continue forever. With time, you will learn to control the moon’s influence over you.

#2 – Learning about yourself never stops.
When you are a werewolf, every day you will learn something new about how you think, perceive things, behave, act, and what you can do. Do not think you will learn everything you need to know within the first few months. And do not think you can learn everything you need to know without the help of others. Learning is an ongoing process, and if someone offers to teach you something from their experience, take advantage of it!

#3 – What you have been, are, and will be – how you shape your future – is up to you.
Being a werewolf does not mean that you have to be a certain way. All the stereotypes of the werewolf do not necessarily pertain to you. You can shape who you are, and who you want to be. It is all within your control. Do not let others tell you that werewolves are a certain way. Each individual werewolf is different and can control the direction he or she takes their lives in.

yes i know right…quick question its on a sevay my gameing class is doing riku+kiri, sora+kiri, or roxas+nomine….which one is better

  4. Lycanhope says:

Well I haven’t played 2 yet, so not sure on the Roxas one.
Honestly? Riku + Kairi, even though you’re supposed to be on Sora’s side. The lengths he goes to to try and save her, brilliant.

  5. night wolf says:

what?! you havent played 2 man your missing out on some great stuff and me if it was between sora or riku i’d say riku he’s way stronger and your right he did way more for kiri than sora did but roxas is my fav play 2 because his story is kinda hard to explain o and that 367/whatever for the ds that one is good too

  6. Lycanhope says:

I’m gonna play them all, in order, just so I can know the whole story. Thank god for emulators 😀

  10. Cynthia says:

Hey are you a werewolf? Can you give me some pointers? Like how do I transform back? And do you think I will go to a bad place for doing the retual to become a werewolf?

  11. Cynthia says:

Sorry just asking because i want to become a werewolf by doing these rituals… is that bad?

  12. Lycanhope says:

@Cynthia: Well whatever ritual you’re referring to won’t work, so you don’t need to worry about that. And transforming back would be doing the opposite to what you did to transform, or if that doesn’t work falling asleep.

As for going to a bad place, I’m not on good terms with whatever higher powers there may be, so I’m not qualified to answer that question. I guess just follow the laws of your country?

  13. Cynthia says:

@Lycanhope: Thanks and by what i meant by bad place I mean hell, sorry didn’t want to use that word… and by the way not to be like a stalker or crazy person, are you a were wolf? I just really really want to become one, do you know a way?

  14. Lycanhope says:

@Cynthia: Yes, I am, and no, not really. It’s not really something you “become”, it’s just something you are. And trust me, you wouldn’t want to anyway. It’s not cool or fun, it’s just obnoxious.

I can give some pointers: ok so first off when you transform into your wolf you might feel life your body is shrinking like your fingers, feat, top of head. You really don’t control how you transform back it just happens that turn into your human form. When you wake up you might feel sick or weak. You will have the urges to get out of the house and just like go visit nature. Sometimes when you think of wolves you might feel sad or alone sometimes you’ll even start crying a bit and it’s because you want to be with your own kind your pack. Oh and you might start protecting your territory and in the winter you might sleep later cause of hibernation. Also you might have the urge to find a mate in winter and you’ll know it. 🙂

This is so… great! The optimistic writting, the way you might make any new-bitten comfortable with who they are. I personally like the last one, about being who you want to be. I wish most werewolves visited this site.

  20. John Doe says:

I’m not completely sure I’m a werewolf, but I’ve been having reoccurring dreams where I’ve seen myself with hair where it shouldn’t be, like on my cheeks and neck, I’m going through puberty, so I don’t actually have that much hair on my face yet. Also, I have always seen myself more as a vampire over werewolf (not literally, but if I was going to be one based on my personality, I’d be a vampire) so having dreams about being a werewolf is very odd. I’ve also never dreamt anything like this before. Is this something that actual werewolves have before they’re turning? I’m concerned because there’s a full moon in two days, so a fast response would be appreciated! Thank you.

There are some other things too, if you think I’m being too vague I can go into more detail if you need it. Some things happening to my physical body too.
