Perseid Meteor Shower

Anyone still up should go outside and check out tonight’s fabulous meteor shower, which showcases about 60 meteors per hour at peak. They’re saying skies in most places are clear enough that there’s an excellent viewing. The spectacle is part of the Perseid Meteor Shower which peaks tonight, August 12. The Perseid meteors are pieces off the Swift-Tuttle comet.

    I don’t see anything, but I’ll go just to be outside. I have to take my pet out for grazing, anyway. Maybe I’ll catch a glimpse of something; but I’ve never seen anything like that.

    Now I’m jealous! I might’ve even seen it, but it was pouring down rain where I was… I guess that might be WHY I’ve never witnessed a meteor shower. =/ Rainy place and all.

    Lol i went out side and lay on my tramp and watched it all night. Sucks that u missed it. it was great until I fell asleep
