The Vampire Cat

Not exactly. Vampire cats are demons. The vampire cat originates from Japanese legends and talks of a cat with the blood-sucking traits of a vampire.

(Vampire monkey?)

The cat is said to actually be a demon in cat form; once the blood of the person he is after is sucked, the cat takes the form of that person. It is said that the vampire cat was eventually killed during a hunt after causing much mischief and nearly killing a Prince.

This creature is somewhat similar to the Nibi no neko (two-tailed cat). But the difference is that nibi can breathe either blue, black or purple flames.

Instead of sucking up blood. It manipulates dead people like they were puppets. It also have an appearance of a black cat (sometimes) with wings.

Like the vampire cat, it is also a mythical creature of japan or commonly known as one of the Biju (tailed beasts).

Another is the Bakeneko and Nekomata. as a Werecat I kind of like the Bakeneko name. Not sure about Nekomata though they are only portrayed as evil and thats something I do not agree with.
