werewolf romance

Once a werewolf has found love, how do you take the love, and make the werewolf romance last when there are so many things in the human world conspiring to keep you apart?  The answer depends alot upon whether or not your romance is with a human, vampire, or another werewolf.

Werewolf – werewolf romance is probably the easiest scenario.  Both people in the relationship know the deepest secret the other carries, so deception and restraint do not play a big role in the relationship.  Or, to be more clear, should not play a big role in the relationship.  If you are finding you are having problems in a romance with another werewolf, my first question is, are you still hiding a part of yourself from your werewolf partner?  Remember, although as a werewolf you have trained yourself to hide and deceive others for personal safety, you do not have to do that with another werewolf.   Identify if you are still withholding something from your partner or the relationship .  If you are, acknowledge it, and open yourself up.  If you don’t, it could eventually pose trouble in your romance.

Vampire – werewolf romance can be a little trickier.  One of the trickiest parts is that traditionally, werewolves and vampires have been longtime enemies.  Of course, while this is not unanimously the case – and as we have discussed before, vampires and werewolves can certainly get along in some cases – it can be a bit trickier than either party can expect.  You might start out your romance completely oblivious to the longtime animosities between vampires and werewolves, thinking that you’re the exception.  But, breaking the barriers that have been built up by generations of others before you, can be more difficult that you think.  You may find yourself falling back on some of the old-time animosities as fuel during disagreements.  You might find yourself harboring resentments against your partner because of things that other werewolves say about vampires.  Do not let others influence your relationship. Your relationship does not include a third party.  While your friends may think themselves perfectly justified in bad-mouthing vampires around you, you must learn to keep them out of your relationship.  Your romance does not include their opinions about vampires.

Human – werewolf romance is the most difficult of the three scenarios.  The romance is likely to start OK, but  distrust can quickly develop.  As a werewolf, a human – werewolf romance means you give up alot of security by sharing your secret (the fact that you are a werewolf) with a human.  With werewolf romances,  it is unlikely your secret will be shared.  With vampire romances, it too is unlikely too be shared as vampires have a secret to keep as much as you.  But with humans…ah, well, they could rat you out to other humans in a second.

If the human you trust shares your secret, you are in deep trouble. The problem is, if you don’t share your secret, this can become a wall between the two of you. Your romance will not have the chance to develop further as you must keep half of yourself secret from your human partner.  The key behind a human – werewolf romance is first identifying if this is the love that will last and not just a quick romance.  Once you are certain that this is a love that will last, you must learn trust.  Trust in yourself, and trust in your human.  At some point, you will just have to go with your instincts, that this is a love that will last a lifetime, and trust the fact that you chose someone that loves you enough back to keep your secret, even if you have a disagreement or fight.

I would never rat out my significant other if he was a werewolf…not matter how the relationship went or if it ended. I dont relate well with other humans anyway they would be the last person I would tell..

  2. ireallyluvwerewolves says:

seriously only a stupid werewolf would do that

  3. wolfy says:

i would love a human and then if we last along time….i may bite her so we could be mates for a life time….then she wouldn’t tell if she does i will have to tell on her too because she had been bitten by a werewolf (me) ……then with the vampire, werewolf love thing….i wouldn’t acually trust a vampire all the way but i would trust her enough to love her abit….then with the werewolf, werewolf thing…..it’s the most safe thing because it could be daylight out and one would be transformed and the other not….but they wouldn’t tell on each other just because their a werewolf….

I believe in the immprobible and for me i find werewolves a interesting subject and point of view. I mean seriosly it would be so cool to have that kind of ability. at least I think so.

  6. Aconissa says:

A human would be stupid to rat out on a werewolf, cause everyone will think they are crazy, and no one will believe them (which would be good for the werewolf)

  7. Kitsunekraze900 says:

    @Aconissa
I totally agree with that point X3

  8. Aconissa says:

    Thanks 🙂

a werewolf human realtionship can last…but some things should really be kept secret..there just not ready for us…..and i dont think theyll ever be ready…..i guess im just a coward that cant see the point in telling them the truth….when frankly it sounds crazy coming from yourself…were not suppose to exist were abominations….

  10. Hachina says:

If we weren’t supposed to exist, then we wouldn’t exist. 😉

  11. Aconissa says:

You are so right Hachina. Evolution creates things for a reason. Survival of the fittest and all

  12. Aspynn says:

Evolution has nothing to do with it. it’s a connection between man and wolf that creates us. a connection in your family tree may bring it down to you. but yes, if we weren’t supposed to be here, we wouldn’t be. though that doesn’t mean it’s right. it’s not a balance. it’s not how it was supposed to be.

  13. Aspynn says:

@Aconissa: unless of course the human had proof

  14. Aconissa says:

Well, if werewolves are real, I dont think its because of magic, its the moons power over things on earth. Scientifically, if you think about it, it could work

  15. papawolf says:

man is also a beast in its own….why give it more power?its a curse and thats how ill always think of it….i wouldent give this to anyone….and for those of you that would love to be one ,i feel only pity…….all this power…these senses….they dont come without a price…for those who know this try to warn the others

  16. Aconissa says:

I agree, we are beasts already. We have evolved way beyond anything else on earth. Usually, predator and prey evolve to match each other so there is always a chance for both to wn confrontation, but thats not how it is for us

LOL. Okay at least i’m not in a house only fool of crazies. It’s good to know that a lot of you are admitting that you simply wish to be a werewolf and that it would be cool if they existed, not that they ACTUALLY do exist. There are still some like Hachina, Aspnn, and papawolf who are taking fantasy a little too far, but who am I to judge. Anyway I am happy to say at least some of you have your mind still relatively healthy, It’s okay to wish to be a wolfman or woman (absurd and ridiculous as it is) but it’s an entirely different story when some person comes on here talking about wolfing out and being able to shift to a furry creature, then finding it a struggle not to eat his or her parents. To me that’s just sick, and seriously you should stop encouraging these borderline psychorticcs. But praise God, a lot of you aren’t claiming to be werewolves on this particular post, you should check out the other posts like “are werewolves real” or “fighting a transformation”, these buffoons are actually claiming to be the forrking wolfman. It’s so pathetic you won’t believe. And to top it off, there stories are so lame, as in exactly what you would see in those teenage romance novels. Obviously they read it and are mimicing the thing, and that’s okay but really guys, lol, it’s a little annoying when some idiot comes on line and says, I have been a werewolf for one thousand years and I have fought many vampires. Can you see why I consider a lot of you demented?

  18. papawolf says:

re_searcha im kinda sorta with you on many levels….but what do you seriously expect…your on a dam werewolf lover site…what the hell do you expect to hear….there having fun and its there choice of what happens…instead of bad mouthing them you can do somehing better, like i dont know getting back to your own life, that dosent involve you bothering people on a site they actually like ,your life must seriously suk for you to go on and just talk crap about kids and fans of myths…and i personally hate that dam twilight and true blood and crappy romance novels and shows….thats all i wanted to say
