Who Studies Werewolf Sightings?

Even if you do not believe in werewolves, there is no denying the fact that every year there actually are werewolf sightings and reports.  Some of them are obvious hoaxes, but there are always some that cannot be disproved as hoaxes.  Every year there are some werewolf sightings that appear real, and are submitted to scientists for deeper investigation.  Some of these werewolf sightings are given to cryptozoologists for further research.  A cryptozoologist is someone that studies and searches for animals – in particular legendary animals – that most scientists do not believe exist – like bigfoot (aka sasquatch), werewolves, and the loch ness monster.  They try to determine if these animals do in fact exist or not.  Cryptozoology is considered a pseudoscience, which refers to theories that appear scientific, but do not adhere to the scientific method, and are not commonly regarded as scientific by most scientists.  There are actually a few small colleges that do offer classes in cryptozoology.

i know what i saw was real, i am not sure why me part…
he was male, young prob. my age 30 or so. it was like mid transition. he was large, wolf but with human characteristics. he was running like he was scared and/or being hunted. it was night, he came thru the trees on the opposite side of the road and ran in front of my car. it was like slow motion for a minute and then he quickley ran for the trees on my side of the road. whatever was after him didnt come thru that i saw. i go down this road often and since this happened everytime i go the recollection gets stronger. that is why i am looking for answers…
